Perfect Golf Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property with gorgeous mountain views, golf greens and big horn sheep! Communication with the property manager was first-rate. I would highly recommend this property for anyone coming into the area for a golf-getaway with family or friends.

Beautiful views

Great location and property. Bighorn sheep made appearances each day. House was comfortable with updated bathrooms and kitchen countertops. Nice appliances and outdoor spaces.

Beautiful location

This property was fantastic for our family holiday. The house was clean, expansive and well-appointed. We loved the pool and hot tub after spending the day hiking or golfing. The best attribute has to be its location on the PGA property nestled into the golf course and mountain.

Wonderful home.

Contemporary home. Loved the location backed up to the mountains. Big horn sheep were our entertainment. The mountain was lit up at night. Got in the spa twice a day. Great bedrooms. Top of the line kitchen appliances. We have been in PGAWest five times. This is our favorite home. Walked to lunch at Ernie’s every day. The home and neighborhood is picture perfect.

Local Watering Hole!

Super lovely spot right on the golf course facing the mountain. Every day the big horned sheep (which we originally thought were goats- LOL) came down from the mountain and drank from the pool. We called our home away from home the local watering hole. We enjoyed the sheep so much. Babies running after their mama's, munching on the green. So adorable and friendly! As far as the space and service of the home, all was top notch. The first night, we had trouble figuring out the spa and they sent someone out immediately the following morning. The pool and the view were delightful. It was a nice relaxing vacation. We'll be back!

Short stay on Congressional Rd

Family and I had a great time. We booked this house for the location. Amazing backyard and views of the mountains. Loved seeing the Bighorn Sheep. The inside lacked charm and attention to detail. All white walls…no body wash in the showers and no art work on the walls. The windows can you a cleaning too. Overall we would come back since most of our time was spent outdoors.

Lovely home and well stocked. Watch out for heating the pool in winter. It’s outrageous and they will charge you. I did question what they said were the BTU’s burned.

For future readers, and as advertised, to calculate the pool heating fees: The allowance is $7/night for homes under 2500 sq ft and $10/night for over 2500 sq ft.. Above that, the lead tenant on the lease pays $3.60/Therm (or 100 Cft) of gas usage upon checkout. We do a meter read when we begin heating the pool/spa, and again at checkout. Furthermore, we would charge for your usage post-stay. (Usually $35-95/night, depending on the weather). This is a pass-thru cost to offset the expensive energy costs to the owner. - iTrip La Quinta Team

Great views

We stayed in the property the third week of October. The home is very clean and had everything that we needed. We spent most of our time by the pool enjoying the sunshine, watching the bighorn sheep, golfers on the par 3, and the mountains. The mountains are lighted at night which provided a great background at night while watching TV in the great room. There's a large tree on the golf course that shades the patio after 3:30pm which made it very comfortable as the highs were in the low 90's. We walked 4 -5 miles per day and never left the Arnold Palmer/Jack Nicholas area.

May Getaway

This was our second time staying in the Congressional property and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect - location, pool, mountain view, home, etc. We were notified just as we were arriving that the tv/internet had gone down. Clarise with the management was all over the situation and had Spectrum onsite at 8:00am on Sunday morning to fix the problem. The repair required all new equipment in the house which wasn't anyone's fault, and we were back up and running by 9:30am. Clarise even offered to come to the house and sit while the repairs were being performed so we could leave if we wanted to. Thank you Clarise for all your help!

Very Disappointed

The overall cleanliness was lower than expected. Upon arrival there were dead bugs on the floor, had to change the sheets in one bedroom, outdoor kitchen had to be washed down prior to use. There were mechanical issues with the pool/spa heat for the first 3 days. They sent a pool tech out to repair. Then the master bath toilet started leaking contaminated water from the base which smelled like urine, we cleaned it up and shut the tank water off. They were unable to fix the issue during our stay. On a side note, the layout is strange….when entering from the garage you travel through the master closet and master bedroom to the main living area. The best part of the property is the view of the mountains and the golf course. We were charged for heating the pool, it only worked 3 out of 7 days. No response from the management company when reaching out to discuss We understand issues can occur but it shouldn’t be at the expense of the customer. We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years and haven’t had a complaint. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this one.
