We had a great adventure as we explored the waterfalls, wineries, and state parks. The cabin was one of the best stocked VRBOs we have stayed at. Spotless, everything you could imagine was in the kitchen cupboards and drawers, along with comfortable beds, plenty of soap and supplies. Responsive host when we had a question. So glad it was our choice and we hope to return!
We had a great time. The house was perfect. Great location near the state parks in the area. We definitely recommend this place!!

Loved this cabin! The place was beautiful, clean, and had everything that you would have at home. Great location to the state parks, rafting, rivers, and an out door lovers dreams!!
We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The location was close to town but private. The cabin was furnished and equipped with everything we could need. The owner was accessible and helpful. The mountain view from the porch was restful and lovely. Loved spending time in the rockers on the porch. Hope to come again!
The property is tucked away in the mountains and has a spectacular view of the mountain top.Sitting on the front porch was so peaceful and our favorite place to hang. We felt comfortable in the house immediately, nice beds and high quality linens/towels with an open floor plan.I would recommend this place to family and friends.
This property is convenient to the town of Clayton. We found it very clean and will furnished. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we had a very relaxing time. I would definitely recommend this property!
The home is spacious and hosts are gracious! I've taken my mother-in-love and her twin here twice and we're already planning our next winter visit. Thank you for a great, relaxing visit!
Location was very good for short day trips and cabin was easy to get to. Enjoyed sitting on the big front porch - with a Mountain View (looked as shown on website). Cabin was clean and plenty spacious for the 5 adults in our group (ages 72 - 80) - we liked having everything on one level (only about 6 steps to get up to the front porch/door). Very enjoyable stay and would like to do so again.
My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was immaculate upon arrival and fully stocked with everything you’ll need during your stay.
The owner was excellent to work with and very responsive to all my questions.
I would absolutely recommend staying here and hope the house is available for our next trip to Clayton.
Cabin was perfect. Very nicely done up. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. I took myself and my two boys on a whitewater rafting trip and I think they will have fond memories of this trip. The cabin was the icing on the cake.
The home was just as stated in listing. Really appreciated all the rooms on one level, as we were traveling with mother-in-love and her twin sister. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was peaceful and quiet, but close enough to downtown Clayton.
The property felt like home with many special touches that helped it seem like a home away from home instead of a hotel type environment. View from the front porch was great. Loved that it could sleep 7 and that 7 could sit at the table to eat. Many places sleep a large number but only have places to eat for 4. Great value and location.
This home was very clean, spacious for multiple guests, and made you feel like you are in a cabin. The outside does not look like a cabin, but the inside has wooden walls and ceiling and is decorated like a cabin- very pretty and homey. I would definitely come back or recommend to friends. Very close drive to downtown Clayton too, but can’t hear traffic from the house.
My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at this spotless house. It was very well appointed; everything we needed was provided. I had one question while there and it was promptly answered. Even though it is located only a few miles from "downtown" Clayton, you would've thought you were way out in the woods. Beautiful scenery, very quiet and we were able to fully relax. Can I give more than 5 stars?!?
Wonderful place to stay! The only negative thing I can say is that there’s no where for you to throw your trash away since there’s no curbside pickup, you have to take your trash with you. This becomes very difficult when you have a car packed of kids and suitcases. Still worth the hassel
Our trip was to celebrate a good friends birthday. Greg the owner was beyond accommodating! The house was very nice and extremely clean. We are already planning our next trip!
Very quiet and a beautiful view. Very nice accommodations.

I live in Atlanta with my wife, 2 children, and pooch. This is a home we maintain for the family.
Why they chose this property
This home was built by my father, brothers, and me in 2002 for my parents who have been visiting the area since their honeymoon in 1957. My mother had vacationed in Clayton since 1940 and our whole family has such amazing memories of this area. Now the house has passed along to us and we would like to share the beauty and tranquility of North Georgia with others. Please enjoy our little cottage and make amazing memories of your own.
