Nestled in an elevated position in the picturesque village of Minffordd, this charming cottage offers an idyllic retreat for up to eight guests.
The cottage features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed to provide a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The master bedroom offers a super kingsize bed and en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom features a super kingsize bed, both these rooms can be set as twins. The third bedroom has twin beds and bunk beds. One highlight of the cottage is the cosy living room with a wood burner which provides the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, there’s a second living room, allowing guests to spread out and relax in comfort. The well-equipped kitchen/dining room provides all the amenities needed to prepare delicious meals. With modern appliances and ample counter space, you’ll find everything you need to cook up a feast. This room certainly makes the most of the views with a large Juliet balcony to enjoy the surroundings from.
Outside, the cottage boasts a lovely garden area where you can soak in the stunning views while enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The outdoor seating area provides the perfect spot for al fresco dining or simply basking in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
Portmeirion Village is perhaps the most famous attraction in the area, a unique and colourful destination. Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, both historic narrow-gauge steam railways have stations in or near Minffordd. They offer scenic journeys through the stunning Snowdonia National Park, with breathtaking views of mountains, forests, and lakes. Harlech Castle, only a short drive away, Harlech Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is situated high on a rock with commanding views over the surrounding landscape and the coastline. Borth-y-Gest is a charming coastal village, located a short distance from the cottage and boasts a sheltered harbour, sandy beach, and picturesque walks along the coast. Further west is the Llyn Peninsula, offering stunning coastal scenery, quaint villages, and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, cycling, and water sports.
