This charming ground-floor apartment with a private entrance is located in the quiet district of Dorn, in Waldkirchen. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children, it offers a peaceful escape at the edge of the forest—perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy stunning views of 1,166 m high Haidl Mountain from the large terrace, a historic route once used by salt traders.

Inside, the apartment features all essentials for a comfortable stay, including a bathtub (usable for a small fee of €5 per use). The area offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities, including trails through the scenic Saußbachklamm and along the Salzsäumer route. In winter, guests can enjoy three nearby ski lifts and a toboggan run.

Excursions to Prague, Passau, and the Bavarian Forest National Park are easily possible. Guests also benefit from the GUTi guest card, which offers unlimited free public transport throughout the Bayerwald tariff area for the duration of the stay.

Das Haus ist fertig, die Couch im Wohnzimmer riecht muffig, die Uhr im Wohnzimmer ist seit der Ankunft auf 13:30 Uhr gestellt. Auf dem Fernseher ist nur Schnee zu sehen. Außenbereich für Behinderte weniger geeignet. Wenn Sie sich oben an einem Hang befinden, möchte der Vermieter auch, dass Sie Ihr Auto noch weiter oben parken, denn seine Frau muss mit ihrem Auto einen VW Golf in der Garage abstellen können, das Garagentor ist ca. 7 Meter breit. Näheres Parken wäre eine Lösung.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und geräumig. Gepflegt und viel Platz. Der dazugehörige Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein und die überdachte Terrasse ist wunderbar, wenn das Wetter sehr heiß ist. Das Haus ist cool, was in der warmen Jahreszeit schön ist. Die Besitzer haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns einige touristische Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend mitgeteilt. Einmal eben mit dem Besitzer selbst einen Aufstieg auf den Lusen gemacht. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und ruhigen Urlaub. Die Gegend bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Radfahren und Golfen. Passau ist eine sehr schöne Stadt, nur eine halbe Autostunde von Waldkirchen entfernt.
