Mooi appartement, prachtig gelegen met een schitterend uitzicht. Het appartement is gebouwd op de oude stadswal, uit de 2e eeuw. Het dorpje zelf doet in alle opzichten middeleeuws aan, behalve qua moderne voorzieningen. Die zijn prima verzorgt. Mobiel telefonisch bereik is prima, mobiel internet is wel matig. Bewoners zijn vriendelijk, maar spreken op uitzonderingen na alleen Italiaans. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt uitstekend Engels. Er worden wekelijks culturele events georganiseerd in het dorpje, die je (meestal gratis) kan bijwonen. Er is een prima restaurant in het dorpje, maar er zijn geen winkels. Dus voor boodschappen moet je even een stukje rijden. Voor ons was de supermarkt in Pomerance de favoriet. Vanuit het dorpje zijn mooie dagtripjes te maken naar Florence, Pisa en Siena. Of een dagje lekker naar de kust, als je houdt van strand. Als je op zoek bent naar een prikkelarme omgeving, waar je echt tot rust kan komen en ontspannen, dan is dit je plek.

Diskret und ruhig – ich habe die Atmosphäre hier sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und die Einrichtung perfekt. Außerdem sind Haustiere erlaubt, was ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist. Spaziergänge im nahegelegenen Wald sind ein Muss für tolle Fotos.
