XV century Palazzetto Loft - The Angeli's Ap. - couples & kids Rome City Centre
On the first floor of the historic Palazzetto Cardelli built in 1492 with the flavor of an ancient and lived-in but modern and romantic house, ideal because it is a few steps from the most beautiful squares in Rome Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona and Piazza Farnese, yet bright and silent. On the second level the second double bedroom with a small low-height bathroom for children. The terrace on the fourth floor has no lift and is accessible until October 15th of each year starting from spring. Guests have exclusive use of the apartment and shared use of the terrace which is practically always free.

We stayed 3 nights in late April. Check in was easy, the property was very clean and well set up for our family of 4. Amazing location, close to everything Rome has to offer. Great hosts, highly recommended.
Wonderful property! Host was super responsive and flexible to our delayed flight and late arrival. This property was absolutely perfect for us (couple with teenage children) as it is in the prime location to walk to all of the major attractions and dining/markets in Rome. Very clean property and a nice full kitchen.
We loved this house. Our kids are teens, so they had to get used to the low ceilings upstairs, and there were a couple of bumped heads, (younger/smaller kids wouldn't have a problem) but it was a fantastic place to stay, right on the campo di fiori, and our kids could walk around safely and freely enjoy Rome. Fantastic house and location!
The location of this property cannot be beat - Loved the cobblestoned alleys with all the shops and restaurants - and the local market open every day right there as wellThe property was clean and comfortable, with all amenities needed thereIf you are looking for luxury - go somewhere else, but if you are looking for an authentic experience, stay here!
Really nice people to deal with. Great communication… The location was perfect and central to all the great sites. I would caution on more than two people planning to stay. The “child” bedroom and bath have really low ceilings. Really not functional for an adult. Other than that I would recommend staying here.
Great location and great hosts that were kind accommodating and responsive. The main challenge with the property is the upstairs and bathrooms are very much designed for people who are not tall. Our group of 3 had two people over 6 feet tall and while we know sizing of space is smaller in Europe, it was a challenge to shower in either bathroom. The bathroom that had more height also had very low pressure and sensitive temps where you couldn’t always get hot water. Definitely better for families on the shorter side.

We are aware of the flaws of the apartment.
And yes, it is definitely better for averqge heights people.
Regarding water flow we aleerted the whole building and definitely an hydraulic work will be occurred in few days.
This should work for a better future.

The location was decent. Within walking distance from the Colosseum and the Vatican. Room was clean it beds were uncomfortable. The upstairs had a very low ceiling which only allowed a mattress on the floor and you have to duck to enter the bathroom. The worst aspect was the noise outside which seemed as though it was coming from inside the home and would last late into the night (3pm). Also, seemed like the host felt it was more important to collect a 60 Euro cash cleaning fee and find out when we would check out than if we enjoyed our stay.

The flaws of the apartment are clearly two and they are declared in the presentation:
It is a 1490 built palace. And that is its flavor.
The upper floor has been done taking into account the low highness.
Regarding the cleaning fee, it was excluded from the fee as it was taxed. I am sorry if my son gave you this bad impression. I am sure is due by his emotional attitude. Unfortunately the timing was prohibitive for me to make check in.
Regarding the noise, this could happen time to time but if you want to stay in the center of movida in Rome ( Trastevere and campo) in an old apartment that it can unfortunately occur.
However The Windows have double glasses and we are planning to change them soon.
We will be happy to have you again soon once it happens.

Andrea
Excellent communication with host. Unbeatable location. Be aware of the ceiling heights on the mezzanine level of the unit. As the owner honestly suggests, an amazing space for children [or adu
Historic property in the heart of Centro Storico on the doorstep of Campo di Fiori. Location is fantastic, with plenty of character and charm yet quiet at night. Check in/out was straightforward, with good responsive host communications. A memorable stay for our family’s Rome experience!
Location was incredible; very vibrant area! Clean and interesting property. Host was very helpful. The property is very open, so ideal for families as opposed to two couples.
This is a wonderful apartment with lots of space and great location. Historical beautiful building, clean, safe, confortable and our family enjoyed very much. Traveling with 2 small kids is not easy, but this apartment is perfect and I strongly recommend for any type of traveler. The host was very nice providing us with a warm welcome and helping us with all the details at the time of arrival. He made us feel at home away from home, and we had a great experience.

Dear Cristian, thank you so much
We are looking forward to welcoming you once again !!!
The property is nice but really only well suited for two people. There are two bedrooms each having no doors or outside windows. The ceilings for the upstairs are so low that an average sized man can not walk upright and as well one cannot stand upright in the downstairs shower. Also, there is essentially no storage for clothing on the second floor. While there is relatively limited comfortable seating the only sofa is not comfortable as the cushions tend to slide off while seated. On a smaller note, the TV has only Italian channels and is not a smart TV. So guests cannot login in to watch Netflix or other channels. The TV would have been nice just to watch for a short time at night after a long day in Rome. I will say that Andrea, the host, was very nice and helpful.
The place was beautiful and in a great location! Andrea our host was also very responsive and very wonderful to work with. Please note this is a historic location. The water pressure is a little bit light and the temp can vary swiftly. Keep this is mind when you shower and if you are tall, watch your head as the bathrooms are very uniquely sized. Other than this, it is totally worth it!
