This lake side retreat is a diamond. The lake views are amazing, the fishing is great and it is located so close to the quaint town of Wolfeboro. We have been going to this location for 24 years and we plan on going another 24.
This property was amazing. It is right on the lake with stunning views. The water was so clean and inviting and surprising warm. The house was clean and very well stocked with a surprise welcome gift when we arrived. Elaine was the perfect host offering suggestions and was always available when we had questions. Looking forward to staying again and again.
Beautifully maintained property, listing was accurate, and the kitchen was well-stocked with basics. I stayed with my 3 adult sons, 2 of their friends and our dog. Check in was effortless, the home was immaculately clean! The home is very close to beautiful downtown Wolfeboro but is quiet and family-oriented. Great contact with owners. Fishing was so much fun! This was just the vacation we needed, and we definitely would stay there again!
What a perfect place to rest and de-stress! There’s nothing like listening to the loons call at night and swimming during the day. This home has everything you need - from peace and quiet to a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and fantastic views. My husband and son used it as a base camp for hiking the Whites. We had fun in Wolfeboro, ice cream at The Bubble, outdoor dining and lobster rolls at Wolfetrap. I hope to go again next year.
This spot is amazing. Even with the challenging weather we had, there were plenty of fans in the cabin for the hot days and plenty of games for the rainy days. And as usual the swimming was the best!
This was a perfect lake cabin and vacation! We enjoyed swimming, fishing and making s’mores in the firepit. The cabin was comfortable and a good size for the 5 of us. We hope to visit again soon!
This was our fourth stay at Campbellot and it was as wonderful as always. It's peaceful, quiet and everything you need is there. It's also less than ten minutes to town for shopping and dining. A perfect getaway.
Lovely waterfront cottage - quiet and peaceful. House was well appointed and very comfortable. Hosts were thoughtful and attentive while still leaving us to enjoy our solitude. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Look forward to returning.
Really enjoyed everything except very hot weather. Unusual for NH. Swimming and fishing were excellent. Any plans for any kind of air conditioning? R Schmitt
We have been coming to Rust Pond for over 22 years and this beautiful home has never disappointed. The scenery is amazing and the fishing is fantastic!! If you are looking for a great private getaway with beautiful scenery located only minutes away from downtown Wolfeboro this is the place to stay.
What a great place to stay for bike week! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the lake with our friends. The house was nice and cozy, plenty of room for everyone. Great location, close to Alton Bay (one of our favorite destinations on the bikes), Weirs, and Laconia HD. Definitely would stay here again.
Lovely lake, great host. I’ve been coming to this lake for 48 years and Elaine has always been accommodating. The chalet is updated every year. Looks great!
