Wonderful property. Exactly as depicted on website. Came with family for leaf peeping trip. Well equipped kitchen! Great location with grocery stores and restaurants relatively close by. Amazing back yard with great views and water toys (kayaks etc). Host Lauren was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

This lake house was amazing. Everything was included that we could possibly need for a fabulous family get together. The views were incredible. Lots of fun things to do without leaving the house - kayaking, paddle boarding, fire pit, bumper pool, or just relaxing on the beach. Hope to get back here again as there was plenty of room for our whole family.

Gorgeous view. Comfy beds. Well appointed house. Easy to locate. We enjoyed relaxing in nature and took advantage of the kayak and paddleboard as well as fished in the lake. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our host was always quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely come back.

We had a great week in Barnstead. Lauren was an excellent host and answered any questions promptly. The house was clean and organized and had plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy. The beach area was a huge hit with the kids, and we loved kayaking the lake. The extra touches like the outdoor shower and the swim mat made the overall experience even better. We have already booked again for next year.

If available - strongly recommend you book it asap!! We had a family fall celebration for a milestone birthday — and the house was AMAZING. Enough space to comfortably fit nine adults and two dogs with room to spare. Not your run-of-mill rental home!! This is such a lovely, thoughtfully designed, and well appointed home to meet guests needs. Every single time we said “I wonder if they have this …” we turned around and found exactly what we were hoping for!! The entire experience from initial booking to our last goodbye was outstanding!! We all left saying “best rental experience ever” and were checking our calendars to determine when we can come back to beautiful Locke Lake and this gorgeous home!!! Thank you for making our celebration so special!

We had an amazing extended family vacation full of fun and memories. All the kids (ages 6 months to 11) loved the beach and all the adults loved floating around the lake! The family room downstairs was great for late night games and the hot tub was hit too. We’d absolutely love to come back next summer but unsurprisingly the house is already completely booked! I do wish weeks were held until the end of each stay to give repeat customers a chance to return — that’s our only hint of critical feedback. Everything else was a dream come true. Thank you, Lauren!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home this holiday weekend! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a reunion of close friends with kids. The host was very responsive and we all had a great time! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay at Barnstead NH.

The host Lauren was incredibly responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The house was, cleanliness, exceeded my expectations, along with the cozy decor, breathtaking view made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting that area and would love to return in the future!

Great place but no privacy

We enjoyed the home and location. We were disappointed there were numerous cameras on all sides of the home that were not disclosed. It caused unease throughout the entire week. Overall, it’s a 4.5 rating: it would be 5 without the cameras.

Barnstead Lake House

I cannot say enough about how amazing this house is. Lakefront. Fully stocked pantry & kitchen. Beautiful views of the lake from a couple of bedrooms. The photos don't do this property justice - it's beyond beautiful and comfortable from the moment you walk in. Lauren reached out upon our arrival and was in communication with updates throughout our stay. My 2 year old granddaughter loved playing in the lake and canoeing with her mom and dad. The property is far enough away BUT close enough to everything. You can do as many activities locally throughout the day or sit on the porch enjoying the view. That was my favorite part of the stay!

AMAZING!!

WOW! What a gem this property was for our family including 8 adults and four kiddos (ages 3, 5 and 8) we’ve been booking a lake house every summer for the past 7 years and this one was by FAR the best. We are already planning to book again for next summer :) plenty of space, great beach, great amenities and activities for kids! We spent a LOT of time in the water. Caught many sunfish and 3 large bass! Enjoyed seeing the loons, ducks and even a beaver! Plenty of parking. AC was great for the very hot days we had. There was an early morning car accident nearby which caused a power outage but the generator kicked on and worked flawlessly until power restored. Kitchen was fully equipped! So many towels in each bedroom. I had the pleasure of sleeping in the Fox room downstairs - amazing!!! Lauren was fantastic and super responsive. We can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you!

The house was perfect for our extended family. Everyone had plenty of room. The lake with the beach, canoe, and kayaks was amazing. We got to enjoy a wonderful firework display on July 3rd. We had the ideal location on the lake! Would highly recommend this house for large families.
