This property was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The views were breathtaking. The host left a welcome treat for us which was a big hit. They also left soap, TP, laundry supplies so we didn’t have to run out the first night to get the basics. We sat on the sun porch and watched the kids swim in the lake, kayaked and even got to watch fireworks from the deck. The grill was very clean (pretty rare in our experience) and the deck was a wonderful place to gather for meals. Very nice appliances. The home is laid out perfectly for everyone to spread out. The hosts are very welcoming and sent out a welcome video and made sure they were accessible should we need them. Highly recommended!

The house was wonderfully provisioned and perfectly clean. Aaron was very responsive to any questions we might have. The beach is lovely and we enjoyed swimming every day.

The perfect lake house

Wonderful location and amenities! Kayaks, swimming dock, gorgeous deck—plus the wildlife! Loons and a bald Eagle seen (and heard) daily. One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve found in a rental property

We had a lovely time at the lake house. Everything is so nicely kept and clean, with lots of little details taken care of - everything from paper plates to wine and s’mores fixin’s to welcome us! Thanks so much for a lovely home. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful Stay

We loved staying at this home on Sunrise Lake. We all enjoyed the lake and there was plenty of activities this home provided. Kayaks, paddle board, floating devices for our young children, a swimming platform to jump off, and plenty of seating outdoors for relaxing! This home was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend a relaxing week at this wonderful home!

We had a wonderful stay in New Hampshire on Sunrise Lake. All things considered I would definitely stay here again in the future. This is a lovely home. The only suggestion I would make would be to give the deck a good power washing as it was pretty dirty and not like the pictures in the listing.

The house was immaculate with a well appointed kitchen. Great for folks who love to cook (or just reheat leftovers)The view of the lake was lovely, a quiet, serene place to relax but with lots to do if you have sunny, weather. Listening to the loons was a highlight for us. The hosts got back to us quickly when we had a question and were in touch with us throughout the renting process. Highly recommend

I rarely ever write a review but I just had to for this rental. Just got back from a week in this home. It was a glorious vacation. 5 adults, 2 toddlers and it was perfect. It is completely as pictured and described. The lake is smooth and the breeze on the wraparound terrace is welcome in the early evening. Sand castles were made, books were read (there are plenty of places to get away) and dinners were cooked. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house itself is quite spacious. A nice firepit, row boat, canoes and kayaks. There is a shed with many inflatable water toys (the toddlers thought it was a fantasy land) and there was a lovely welcome on the dining table when we arrived. Plenty of clean linen, beach towels, towels etc. Big comfy furniture indoors. I highly highly recommend. Thanks for the stay - loved every second.

Perfect spot for our family getaway

This was our second time staying here. It was just as enjoyable as it was last year. The beach and easy lake access are just right for our grandchildren (7 and 3). And we enjoyed the fire pit on more than one evening. The spacious living room,sun room and deck make it easy to spend time together or to find a place to be alone with a book, listening to the loons and other birds. The house is roomy and with three generations of the family there, we never felt in each other's way. It was good to be able to cook and enjoy our meals at the house thanks to a very well equipped kitchen. Thank you for a memorable week.

perfect getaway

The property was just as advertised but even better than you might expect. Lots of comfy outdoor seating, plenty of toys, floats etc for enjoying the lake as a 2 year old or a 70 year old! There were also kayaks and a row boat and water board. There was a big deck off the living room which was perfect. Inside was also great with a welcome package and ingredients so you didn't have to go out and buy condiments. The beds were comfortable and each room had an air conditioner if needed. The lake was warm and perfect for the little ones. Thank you for sharing this lovely place.

Beautiful setting, perfect for us and grandchildren

This was an ideal spot for spending time with our children and grandchildren (ages 6 and 2). The kids spent a lot of time digging and splashing on the sandy beach where it was easy for us to keep an eye on them. When it rained--and when it didn't--we enjoyed spending time on the sun porch, which is spacious, comfortable and has great views of the lake. We also made good use of the deck. Being able to have a campfire was a treat for all of us, especially the young ones. Although we did not use the kayaks/boats, they were a welcome feature that we might enjoy if we come again when the grand kids are older. We also enjoyed listening to the loons, warblers and vireos. The house is very well equipped. Nothing was missing from the kitchen or in other respects. Private location and quiet were wonderful. I would recommend this spot to people with young children or to anyone looking for a beautiful retreat by the water. We had a memorable four days here.

Everything was great.. House was great.. location on the lake was beautiful.. spent two days kayaking on Sunrise Lake.. the location also served well for day trips to Mt Major, Flume Gorge, Mt. Washington…. couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.. highly recommend.. thanks..

Perfect long weekend away

Home was just as listed. Very private. Nice and quiet. Just what we were looking for. Very clean, but didn’t feel sterile or like you couldn’t touch anything. Was very comfortable, warm, and felt right at home. Lake was beautiful and loved listening to the loons.

Such a wonderful week!

This was our first time here and we were so pleased! The location is beautiful and so private. The house was very clean and comfortable and if we forgot anything they had it… even a shoehorn… which we didn’t think they had but it was right on top of the coat rack. That was our joke of the week, the house had everything you could possibly need… even a shoehorn. The weather didn’t cooperate the whole week but it didn’t matter, everything was so beautiful. In other reviews it said it is child friendly and we completely agree. The beach was good sized, the jumping dock wasn’t too far out, and the boat dock was low to the water which I appreciated with the little ones. The sunroom was wonderful! 7 sliding doors to a wonderful large deck. I truly understand why the reviews are so good! This home and these hosts deserve it! The six of us that stayed enjoyed it immensely and any visitors we had wanted it to be ours so they could come again. By the way if you need to go out for anything, Rochester is only 20 minutes away and there was plenty. It was a week we will never forget and hopefully we will get to visit Sunrise Lake again!!!!! Thank you so much!!

The Perfect Lake House and Location

Love everything about the property ("Impeccable"); the location - what's not to love about your own private cove, on a dirt road, with neighbors you're vaguely aware of, but can't see and can barely hear?; if you want full sun-you can find it; partial shade- you'll find a spot with that; and, if you want full shade, like me, there's plenty of shade, too! Not to mention the "4-season room" (SO COMFY!!! and roomy!!! and nice 'n' breezy at times!) . The loons, eagles and ducks are so wonderful to listen to and watch! Sunrise Lake is mesmerizing all day into night. Nice, big kitchen to cook in with plenty of room for 6 adults to eat inside or out. Great grill. Big fridge. (We should have run out of room, but we didn't as we brought a good sized cooler for our craft beer connoisseurs...) The lake was a comfortable temperature- it was mid August '22. Air conditioners in all 3 bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable. Plenty of fans, too, if AC is not warranted. Lots of outdoor lake toys and chairs and cushions. I use VRBO with family and friends a lot - this place is a 9...only because my favorite house EVER! - a 10 -was on the Caribbean Island of St. John in the winter and I am from Maine!!! LOL!!! That was 20 years ago and, well, the longer ago the event... the better it was in our memories!!! Rent this place - you'll definitely want to go back!!! Thank you Owners for your Great Hospitality!!!

Wonderful time on the lake

This place was exceptional. Went for family time and with 2 boys under 2 was perfect .Private nice sm beach deck and enclosed sunroom perfect for nights to just sit and relax. Cannot say enough was a perfect spot.Had everything you need. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect tranquility

If you enjoy nature, being on a serene lake, privacy, paddling on the lake, comfortable surroundings that invite relaxation and visiting with friends around the fire, on the floating dock, in the bright sunporch, or on the spacious deck surrounded by trees, the call of loons, and gently lapping waters, then this is the house for you! Meticulously clean, nicely equipped and "homey." We were guests of friends here a year ago, and I immediately booked it for our family this year. Owners were great! Everything is exactly as they describe. Bring yourselves and your food; they've seen to the rest. Easy drive to explore Lake Winnipesaukee region then return to your private paradise.

The Perfect summer lake house

Incredibly well appointed lake house. The Waterfront was both gorgeous and private. Lake water was clean and swimmable. The boats were all great, beach toys, floats, life preservers, etc.......The house itself was awesome. 7 screened sliders in the sun room facing the water, GREAT KITCHEN; everything you could want was already there............I'm not an eloquent writer, but this place is a gem. Thank you for letting our family share your home.

Beautiful House

The house was immaculate.. everything you could possibly want was supplied.. had a great time kayaking on Sunrise Lake.. was a comfortable place to come back to after several day trips.. was wonderful to sit on the deck and watch the sunset.. Aaron was very attentive to our questions and needs.. highly recommend.
