A peaceful, relaxing place with privileged view of the sea.

This two floor house, can accommodate six people and a baby comfortably. The main living area, is in the second floor, with a Kitchen and living room in same space, as an open concept. Three bedrooms; two rooms with double beds and one with two single beds; two bathrooms.

The kitchen is equipped with utensils and appliances so you can easily prepare any meal; as well as a seating area to eat in the kitchen and another one in the outside, so you can have an outdoor meal with a sea view in sunny days.

The living room, offers you a cozy rest sit; to read and relax with enjoyable company. From the living room you can access the balcony from an ample window, floor to ceiling, integrating the two different areas and giving you more light and an extra place to enjoy the accommodation.

The house also have, in the first floor a laundry room and an outside parking area.

Lovely place in a quiet agricultral area, with sea-facing patio. Very narrow driveway, but there is a paking spot 20m or so past the house.

The place was lovely, if a bit dated. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing was that communication with our host was an issue. The password to get into the house was wrong, so we had trouble getting in. Her son had left their wallet in the house. No problem, I left it in the post box for her as requested. No thank you or sorry for any confusion of the code or the wallet. There was no welcome book with any information about the wifi. Again, no acknowledgment for that, as I was searching for ages to find it. There was no information about tourist tax, but at the very end of the trip, on our last night at 10pm, she contacted me on whatsap to tell me about the tax, when I was about to go to bed. You'd think she hadn't hosted before. Other than that, the house, while very odd, was very nice, very clean and in a great location.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit wunderbarem Weitblick zum Atlantik

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und konnten gut entspannen. Besondere Highlights sind die Terasse und, wenn man in Abendsonne sitzen will, der Balkon. Es gibt auch 2 Sonnenliegen.Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Das Haus ist geeignet, wenn man ruhig und in touristenarmer Gegend wohnen möchte. Mit dem Auto ist man gut angebunden in alle Richtungen der Insel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ( und Bademöglichkeit) in Ribeira Brava sind in 10 Autominuten zu erreichen. Schöner Strand ist in Calheta, schöner Ort ist Ponta do Sol ( fanden wir).Einziges Manko (wie schon in einer vorigen Bewertung beschrieben) ist die Feuchtigkeit im Haus und der muffige Geruch der zum Teil in den Räumen hängt und auch im Holz der Kleiderschränke. Man muss immer gut lüften und ggf. den Entfeuchter benutzen, der im Waschmaschinenraum zu finden ist. Deswegen einen Stern Abzug. Man sollte Froschkonzerte mögen (uns hat es nicht gestört) und abendliches Hundegebell tolerieren.Es wäre schön, wenn es eine Mappe mit den wesentlichen Infos gäbe, z.B. WLAN Passwort, Müllentsorgung…) Aber auf Anfrage bekommt man alles umgehend von der Vermieterin mitgeteilt.

Schöne Unterkunft

Wir sind für 10 Tage auf Madeira gewesen und hatten uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden. Wir haben erst in der Nacht zuvor Informationen zum Check-In bekommen, was mir persönlich etwas zu kurzfristig war. Das Inserat gibt genau die Unterkunft wieder. Es gibt 2 schöne sanierte Bäder und 3 Schlafzimmer. Das große Schlafzimmer ist direkt mit der großen Terrasse verbunden. Neben der Terrasse ist ein kleiner Tümpel mit Fröschen, weswegen wir nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnten. Sonst war es aber sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Leider funktioniert nur eine Herdplatte, da sonst die Sicherung rausfliegt. Wir haben uns aber arrangieren können. Das Haus riecht leider etwas feucht, weswegen wir viel gelüftet haben. Sonst gibt es noch eine Waschmaschine die wir auch einmal genutzt haben. Diese funktioniert auch sehr gut. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft aber sehr zu empfehlen. Der Ausblick von der großen Terrasse ist einmalig. Wir konnten das Auto entweder in die Einfahrt stellen oder haben die Parkbucht 20m von Haus entfernt genutzt. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern klappt über WhatsApp problemlos und schnell. Wir würden das Haus nochmal für den Urlaub buchen, das auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
