The house has 3 large bedrooms and 3 sizeable bathrooms. A large living area with open plan kitchen. There is also a large private decking area with hot tub.

The main lounge kitchen area is a staggering 800 Sq Ft which makes entertaining larger groups easy to do.

Even if the weather is bad you have the luxury of a 50 inch plasma TV with Sky package to keep you entertained. The lounge also has a feature wood burning stove to make winter nights cosy.

The house has a mains pressured hot water system to ensure you always get a powerful hot shower on demand.

As the property is all on one level it has proved popular for those that have disabilities.

Farm cottage

The cottage was excellent for our weekend break . .It had plenty of room for 6 adults 2 dogs and a baby .the house and sauna were a great addition and everything was so clean. I'd recommend the cottage to anyone.

Great stay on a stormy weekend

First off I would like to thank our host's for being so flexible in allowing us to carry over a previous booking after we had to cancel due to bad weather. As luck would have it there was another named storm on the weekend we arrived !!! but we made it this time. Accommodation was perfect and really a home from home. Added bonus of the hot tub and sauna was just amazing. Will certainly be back again.

Perfect resort!

I had booked the entire cottage property for my son's wedding for 3 days. The location was perfect with its natural surroundings and its proximity to the Boturich Castle. The amenities were modern. The host guide book had informative tips on local eateries and conveniences. Dave the owner was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The cottages were spotless and well maintained. All in all a perfect setting for our family and friends who came from all parts of the world. We loved it.

A brilliant hen party

We had a great hen weekend staying at Auchendennan, accomodation was fabulous and so spacious, quiet, clean and tidy. Hot tub was fab! Location is perfect. Booked a few apartments as well as the farm cottage, all within a very short walk which ideal for our size of party as meant everyone had there own space.

Fabulous stay

We had a weekend in the farm cottage with family for my husbands 60th. I only booked it a couple of weeks beforehand and Angela couldnt have been more helpful. The cottage was large and had everything we needed. It was just perfect. Staff were lovely.

The accommodation was traditional and modern enough at the same time. With an open plan living room, the Sauna and hot tub there is lots to enjoy. Loch lomond is 150 meters away if you are looking for a nice walk. The area also has it's own Tennis court, with football goals and Basketball hoop, which the kids loved.

Perfect location for exploring Loch Lomond and fantastic service and value all round.

We spent 3 nights at Auchendennan self-catering cottages ad the service from start to finish was outstanding. The photos did not do the 3-bedroom accommodation justice; the cottage was far larger than anticipated with everything for self-catering considered. The hot-tub and sauna were the icing on the cake, and unlike other accommodations situated closer to the regular/ very busy traffic, these cottages are set further back from the road, so it is much more private, peaceful and secure for children and family alike. We would not hesitate to return (and are looking forward to another break there next year) - the service, accommodation, location, and comfort within the villa merit an all-round 5 star recommendation. Many thanks Angela, for your excellent service from start to finish!

A saving grace

We recently had ferry issues while trying to leave Islay, which left us stranded late at night with no where to go. We rang other places but no one wanted to help because of the lateness and also because we only needed 1 night. We rang here and explained our predicament and they came to our aid instantly. We were given a place to stay and clear and concise instructions on which accommodation was ours. Even apologising that no one would be there to welcome us. We cant thank them enough for the help they gave us. The location and accommodation are truly beautiful, we even had a private sauna!! we would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately needed to leave. Highly recommended

Perfect from start to finish

From the very 1st telephone call I made to book our stay I knew that this was going to be a great getaway. They were so lovely and helpful. We arrived at the cottage and couldn't believe the size of it. Everything was beautifully laid out, the place was modern yet cosy and all the little extras were there(things like hand-wash and shower gel, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, teabags,netflix,blankets etc) the sauna was brilliant, the hot tub was fab(even in the rain) you are right next to fields with sheep, lambs and horses. The only difficult thing was crossing the road to get to the Loch as it is very busy with no islands or crossings. But this is out of auchendennans control. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!x

Primely situated on the private Auchendennan Farm estate, a stones throw from the loch and close to all local amenities this recently extended and fully renovated house is the joining together of a traditional farm workers cottage into a barn conversion to give a large 3 bedroom 3 bathroom property. With a massive open plan living and kitchen area all the family can be together socialising while away.


Sleeping 6 persons across 3 rooms you are assured large space and comfort.


This property has a fully enclosed decking area with hot tub, full size sauna and large woodburning stove with free logs provided.


Sky TV, internet, Egyptian cotton linen and towels come as standard.
