Property just 20 minutes from Angers to Saint Aubin Luigné. Only 4 hours 30 minutes from Calais This property extends over 1 hectare of land 1/2 including a tennis court ( not restaured ) but a fully restaured 10mx5m heated pool may till september ( weather permitting ), with terrace and also barbecue, deck chairs, garden furniture, play ground outside. This area is located in the heart of the vineyards with stunning views. This property is located in a beautiful and quiet environment. Your children can play safely because the area is closed and secure.
This house of 220m² is completely renovated keeping all the regional charm of exposed beams and stone, terracotta and oak. It is ideal for family gatherings or friends. It can easily accommodate up to 25 people. On the ground floor there are 3 large living rooms, a dining room accommodating up to 25 people, a living room with not only more luxurious leather sofa but also a large flat screen with French and English channels, and large games room with pool table, poker table and many board games and library, and a 4th room kitchen fully equipped with kitchen utensils, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, cooking piano, microwave .. On the ground floor is 1 wood stove (wood provided) Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet sink. Upstairs you will find up to 7 bedrooms 2 bathrooms 1 bathroom and 3 toilets. Two family rooms with large double bed 160 and bunk beds. 3 bedrooms with double bed 160 and 2 bedrooms with double bed 160, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bedroom with two sets of bunk beds 1 bedroom with a single bed and bunk bed. Offering 21 beds upstairs and on the ground floor 4 extra. All
the rooms are equipped with TV, 2 pillows per person luxurious duvet. Each shower room and bathroom are equipped with their own hot water tank. We provide a cot. Our rental includes linens, beds are so made for your arrival.

A delightful setting, very quiet and during our stay generally very good weather. The pool is brilliant and was enjoyed by everyone in our party. This is not a venue if you are expecting five star luxury, it is a venue if you a looking for a relaxing stay in very nice large French home that can easily accommodate a large group, in our case our four adult children, their spouses and our seven grand children. The owner, Stephanie was very helpful, though because of her commitments we only met her when we were leaving at the end of our stay. If you enjoy walking or cycling, there are numerous quiet lanes and field paths to choose and there are a number of VTT routes. I would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful property and location

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone despite being a large family group. We enjoyed playing tennis and using the pool - although it was a bit chilly for a couple of days. Stephanie responded really quickly to all of our queries.

Big House with Pool and Games Room

The property was perfect for our extended family. The large pool, bbq, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as lots of seating at eating areas both in the house and outside were all well used.

Spacious house in a good location.

Our party of 17 had a great holiday at le vau. The house is a little bit "tired" but that is more than compensated for by the swimming pool (a few more sun loungers would be good) and extensive grounds. An excellent location particularly if you like wine tasting! There are plenty of things to do at the house - tennis, table tennis and other games. Some of the party enjoyed canoeing which is about 15 mins away.

Rustic property with bare essentials

Due to a later arrival we were not met by the host this was unfortunate as we were met with a pool that was unusable due to it being green and cloudy and an extremely unpleasant smell inside the property I contacted the host immediately and she arranged to come the following morning she didn’t sctuslly arrive till late afternoon which meant another full day of no pool usage it took a few days of treatment till the pool was in a fit state to be used as with 9 adults an 11 children I was not prepared to put their health at risk I was told that the pool was cloudy due to excessive rain but being a pool owner myself I do know that it didn’t have sufficient chlorine despite there being around 30 plus tablets in the filter when we arrived Stephanie did rectify the issue with the pool with help from us but unfortunately the smell which elevated from the downstairs bathroom did not go away for the duration of our holiday it seems the septic tank lay st the rear of the bathroom and this seemed to be the source of the problem . The child’s play area was also unusable due to broken seats and sharp edges protruding from the broken slide but again the host did remove the broken arts and supply s new swing Dest and tried to repair the damage with masking tape there was also no storage in the bedrooms for your clothes or mirrors in any bedrooms which I mentioned and she did supply some mirrored squares and adhesive which rectified the issue all in all the property is spacious for a large family or several families but it is very old and in need of improvements there is s lot of land for kids to run around but beware of the too g sheep which kept breaking through the fence and there were a number of snakes around the property as long as you don’t expect luxury it is adequate if somewhat rustic and very basic it just needs some money spending for improvements we had s pleasant stay

Don't be misguided by these irrelevant comments but make your own judgements with other comments. We have repeated business all year and hight recommandations We own a cottage that has been entirely fully refurbished 4 years ago. These comments are more than exaggerated they are totally irrelevant ( we have proof ) cause we pointed out to the renters how dirty they left the place , we did had an issue with the pool as it turned cloudy with the heat and storm , we and only us fixed it, just a normal light treatment was done for normal usage of the pool by the hosts on arrival. After professional testing done, proving the level of chemicals was perfect we needed a shock treatment which was immediately done. As comments regarding mirrors and lack of storage. i do not understand all our bedroom except one has clothes rack, hangers, cupboard and shelves. Mirrors are in bathroom we had up mirrors in bedrooms to ease the stay that week

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end à quatre familles dans le gîte de Stéphanie particulièrement bien conçu pour les grands groupes avec enfants : billard, baby-foot, terrain de tennis, sans compter les environs (coteaux du Layon) qui permettent de très belles balades. Nous reviendrons certainement l'an prochain un peu plus tard dans la saison pour profiter cette fois de la belle piscine ! Merci à Stéphanie pour sa disponibilité et sa réactivité dans les échanges.

Gîte idéal pour se retrouver en famille. Logement très bien agencé et équipé notamment au niveau de la cuisine. De nombreuses activités sont possibles entre la salle de jeux, la piscine, le terrain de tennis ainsi que la visite des vignobles alentours. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement !

Tres bonne installation dans le gite le vendredi pour un week-end en famille. Les chambres sont propres. La cuisine etroite mais pratique. Le court de tennis aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement. Maison agreable au style rustique et campagnard.

Logement au top, très agréable et fonctionnel. Sa localisation permet une grande tranquillité dans un cadre très beau. Un regret: nous avons eu froid à notre arrivée et sans possibilité d’avoir les chauffages… le feu de cheminée a permis d’atténuer cet effet mais uniquement dans la pièce principale
