Welcome to beautiful Peninsula Lake. Our 2010 built Muskoka lakefront house is 10 minutes to downtown Huntsville. You can easily boat or drive into town. We’re also close to the famous Deerhurst Resort; Hidden Valley Resort for skiing, Arrowhead and Algonquin parks for hiking, Limberlost trails, golf, shopping, bakery, dining. Excellent fishing lake, on a chain of four lakes in a quiet bay. Lake House is perfect for small family/groups with main floor master, two loft-style bedrooms and all the comforts of home. Deck and new lakeside dock for relaxing. Lower level walk-out with gorgeous views of the lake from anywhere on the property.

We offer the perfect family getaway. The conveniences of home with the relaxed vibe that is Muskoka. Our Lake House includes two separate living rooms each with a flat screen TV and DVD. Shaw satellite TV and movie package included. Tons of movies, board games, puzzles. Two separate full bathrooms and nice sized bedrooms with sleep accommodations to fit any family. Dishwasher, microwave, BBQ for easy meals and clean-up. Safe location with friendly neighbouring homes. A stay includes seasonal use of our Langford canoe, SUP, kids’ kayak, swim toys, lakeside dining, lots of seating spots to enjoy the views and a lakeside firepit.

We are not a secluded spot, there are neighbours next to us. Quiet hours and the utmost respect for the area will need to be followed.

Relaxing family vacation

We just came back from a week at Sylvia and Stefan’s and we had the best time. The cottage is immaculately maintained. It was spotless, comfortable, and just as it appears in the pictures. There are many thoughtful considerations put into this rental. They go above and beyond. It had all the space we could ask for as a family with two small kids. The lake was beautiful and they provided plenty of water toys and activities. The cottage is located on the quiet end of the lake which is nice. Sandy area was ideal for our little ones. Location is great as well-10 minutes into Huntsville and 15 to Dwight. It was easy to find. Sylvia was very accessible before and during our stay. We would definitely go back.

Well it was good stay for 4 days..but has some privacy issue with location. Neighbour homes are very much attached with this property. So have to keep some silence while we have good time in deck. Very first day owner called us at 11pm twice and was confirming that 1. How many guest are checked in..2. Please keep some silence as got complain from neighbours. Well to be honestly, we were not making any additional noice by speech or music.. Rest of all it was good atmosphere there in early September and had good time.

Excellent experience!

Our overall experience and stay were amazing! The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s so well decorated and the attention to detail is noticeable! The owners put so much effort into ensuring their guests have a great stay. The whole property is incredibly clean and so well cared for. The description of this property is very accurate and the pictures show the property very well (if anything, they don’t do the property justice - it’s even better in person). The owners were so easy to work with and made the whole transaction simple. They even included some really fantastic local spots to visit help us prepare our trip. The property is located on a beautiful lake and the dock offers a picturesque view! It’s only a short drive to downtown Huntsville that gives you ease of access to all the local spots. We’re so glad we picked this spot for our getaway. It was relaxing and peaceful and we would most certainly return!!

Very Nice Muskoka Getaway

Lovely place to spend a week. All the amenities. Nicest part was the dock. Lot was maybe a little smaller than some of those on the lake but the neighbours were quiet and barely seemed to be around. Would definitely recommend.

We rented this gorgeous cottage to keep a 20 year May long weekend tradition going and although the pictures in the add were great, the real life version does it way more justice. Just fantastic! We wouldn’t have changed a thing.

My husband and I together with our 3 kids have vacationed in Muskoka every year, there truly is no place like it. In January 2017 after searching all over Muskoka, we purchased our own cottage on Peninsula Lake just 10 minutes from Huntsville. It is a year-round lake house that offers us more time to enjoy this special place up north.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a cottage that was newly built, with year-round access and close to town that provides shopping, services, all amenities and lots of activities for every season. Our family regularly enjoys swimming, hiking, boating, sledding, skiing. Our cottage is in the bay of Peninsula lake with the best views, and cleanest, warmest water on the chain.

What makes this property unique

Our lake house is in a great little neighbourhood, it has amazing views of the lake looking out from the vaulted windows, very picturesque. Our cottage has a great layout for family to spend time together and plenty of room for families with kids. It is great to be on a chain of four lakes, and to be on the same lake as Deerhurst and Hidden Valley Resort. We can boat into town to pick up groceries or grab lunch or dinner at a lakeside restaurant.
We are also a short drive to Algonquin. There is so much to do it's hard to pack it all into a short visit.
