Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood 5 minutes from Tram stop
Out of the way in quiet neighborhood. Good kitchen and washing machine. Very narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedroom with way too small shower. Shower downstairs taller but narrow. Clean and well maintained except we all got spider bites. AC in main area worked well. AC in downstairs not as well. No AC upstairs, just a fan.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was as advertised. The kitchen could benefit from better knives and utensils but other than that was well equipped. The upstairs bedroom bed had been broken and was when we showed up only to notice at bed time. When we called they did have someone come in, but it wasn’t repaired only “fixed” the same way it was before. It was a bit disappointing. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was nice, although bathroom upstairs was small, it was functional. Overall a nice little place. Location was a bit far from the historical centre but not terrible. Also nice well stocked grocery store very close by.
Our contact Scott was very helpful with check in and giving us recommendations for dining in the area. A short walk from the apartment was everything you could want- Gelateria, a bakery Pasticceria Excalibur where the woman who owned it was so kind to us and we visited her nearly every morning. A great wine shop, a pizza place, and multiple fresh produce stands. The train station was a 20 minute walk and the tram was a 5 minute walk. And important to us was how quiet this building and neighborhood was!
The apartment was well appointed though it should be noted the upstairs is not a bedroom but a loft and the shower is for short people. I am 5'5" and it was tight but doable. We stayed for 10 days and a housekeeper came half way through our stay and changed sheets, towels and a general clean up. That was a much appreciated touch. We left some umbrellas for future guests as well as some plug in mosquito killers- they were vicious but the "Vape" plug ins took care of them quickly.
I would stay here again and highly recommend this property.

This was a beautiful apartment for our stay in Florence. My husband and I were excited to have a second bedroom for our daughter and a living space we could spend time in once she went to sleep each night. It was very hot while were in the city, and unfortunately when we arrived the a/c unit in the main bedroom area didn't work, and the one in the living room wasn't able to keep up with the heat. The property managers were very responsive and had a technician come out to evaluate. Unfortunately they could not repair the first a/c and told us the main living room unit is just too small for that large of a space. The rental provided a portable a/c for the lower bedroom, which made it cool enough to sleep there, but our daughter ended up sleeping on the couch every night because the upstairs bedroom and bathroom were just too hot to use.The management company did offer us a small refund when we complained, as we were unable to use about a third of the house due to the heat.We did enjoy the living room, though, and used the kitchen every day to make breakfast. It would be a great apartment in cooler seasons. It's a little away from the center of activity, but we appreciated coming home to a quieter neighborhood each night.
