Town: Haddiscoe is a civil parish in South Norfolk, located just a short distance from the coastal towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Slightly further afield is the well loved seaside town of Southwold. The village enjoys a close proximity to the River Waveney and the Broads, as well as Wheatacre Marshes. This parish has the beautiful Church of St Mary’s, one of the best known of Norfolks round-towered churches. There is a local Farm Shop at Wheatacre Hall Farm which is well equipped with plenty of local produce for you to stock up on during your stay. Dining options include the Wheatacre White Lion, serving food and beverages in picturesque surroundings, or the Bell Inn at St Olaves which is reported to be the Broadland's oldest recorded Inn. Places of interest nearby include the beach at Gorleston-on-Sea, the fishing lakes at Aldeby Hall, and the multiple activities at Somerleyton Hall and Fritton Lakes. Within easy access of Haddiscoe is the thriving market town of Beccles, with a good selection of restaurants and shops, and the heated outdoor Lido.
