The Nest - - 200 ft to East Twin Lake + Walk to Town
Welcome to The Nest, a remodeled 3-bedroom Lewiston cabin just 200 feet from East Twin Lake. Enjoy shared dock space, lake access, a large yard, and an easy walk to downtown restaurants, the public beach, bowling, ice cream, and local entertainment. It’s a comfortable year-round base for boating, fishing, golf, hunting, snowmobiling, and Northern Michigan weekends with family or friends.
Originally built as a loggers cabin this property was in the same family for 50 years.
The cabin suffered from some 1970's design choices and we love to do renovation work so, we took it down to the studs and rebuilt it.

The house was great! We enjoyed Staying there! I would just add that if you’re going with a big group, you may need bigger pots and pans to cook. Overall, we loved the house and Jeoff was amazing!

Just what we wanted
Mr. Burris's place was exactly what I was hoping for. The location was excellent - steps from the public beach, an easy walk into town, yet still in an area with enough woods to have an 'Up North' feel. The house itself was immaculately clean, and well appointed for my mob of (4) kids, their grandmother, and myself. Mr. Burris was very hospitable, and extraordinarily generous in taking my kids out rafting on the lake. All in all, a perfect base to give my kids a taste of the Lewiston summers I had as a kid.
