Perfect spot to relax and unwind, even in the winter. The host has several electric fireplace heaters throughout the home which adds to the cozy feeling. The kitchen has everything you could think of, and anything you might have forgotten. We would have been comfortable enough just with the upstairs…but the family room and game room downstairs were a wonderful bonus.
The property was wonderful. My family enjoyed fishing on the lake and the host was accommodating on making sure i received my welcome packet. Place was clean and kitchen was well stocked with whatever you needed to cook for dinner.
We had a very nice time and found everything we needed was supplied, although the grill desperately needs an update.

I checked the grill upon seeing your review. All four burners lit and I made myself dinner. No renter prior to your stay had an issue with the grill. I wish you would have voiced your concern during your stay, as I have an extra grill available in the garage, which you had full access to. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
The perfect spot for a peaceful, beautiful and fun filled getaway. We loved everything about this cottage. It sits on a picturesque lot right on the lake.
Exactly as pictured and described. There’s so much to do inside and out. We would love to come back again and stay even longer.
This is our second time staying at this rental and we absolutely loved it! Its perfectly secluded and has EVERYTHING you need for a great vacation. We spent hours kayaking and fishing and spent the evenings playing in the gameroom. If you want your family to "unplug" for awhile, this is the perfect place! Love the new updates since the last time we were there!
Our family of ten with children ranging in ages of 6-21 had a wonderful weekend away. There was plenty to do inside the cabin for all ages from games to pool to family movie nights. All had a fun time sledding down the backyard.
We recently stayed at the LLG for our second time. We had another outstanding time at this property which has been significantly upgraded since our last visit there a few years back. The property is clean, well maintained and had all sorts of amenities for us to enjoy. We are looking forward to heading back to the LLG in the future.
Picturesque property. Private and very clean. Comfortable seating inside and out. We enjoyed time out on the lake- fishing and kayaking. House has everything you need and more.
Came away to enjoy the winter with young kids. After snowmobiling it was nice to come home to a peaceful, clean, cozy place. The kitchen has so much equipment you could cook up anything you would like. There are fireplace space heaters throughout which added to the cozy feel. The owner was honest and informative. Highly recommend!!
Enjoyed our time at the cabin. There was plenty to do for everyone and we never left the premises. All enjoyed swimming and using the many provided kayaks, canoe and paddle boats. When it rained, there was pool, darts, air hockey and cards to be played. The teenagers enjoyed watching videos at night in the basement while the young ones went to sleep upstairs. Relaxing week away from the stresses of everyday life.

We had a great weekend at the LLG. The cottage is very nice and furnished with everything that anyone would need. The lake and area are very private and beautiful. We really enjoyed making a bonfire at sunset out near the lake and taking our dogs on long walks around the lake. Thank You very much for sharing such a wonderful place with us and our two dogs! We all loved it and will be back again soon!

Our family just spent several great days at your home on Lake Louise. The house accommodated us grandparents, kids, and grandkids (of all ages), very well, and everything was supplied that we needed. The kayaks and other boats were a real bonus. We had great weather and spent a lot of time playing badminton in the yard! Thanks again!

Tee pictures did not do the house justice only thing any one could fine fault with was back porch steps which looks like they are getting ready to rebuild
We had a long weekend and took a fun trip up north. This home fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room, 2 full bathrooms, a large, fully appointed kitchen and dining area, living room and den, and a great location close to the ski/tubing hill and Gaylord. The house was impeccably clean, and the owners thought of every need. The lake location is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, darts and foosball. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. We wish we could have stayed longer. The owner also was very responsive whenever we messaged him on VRBO.
We chose the LLG to give our dog, Mike, a leash-less, water-filled vacation - likely his last (and first), due to inoperable cancer. Mike was able to run free as promised, and tirelessly swam after balls in the lake. Though it rained nearly our entire stay, it was a vacation we won't forget. [The mosquitoes could have stayed home, though..]

Our family stayed at the LLG in mid-July. The weather was great and we had an excellent time. The cottage was very neat, well-kept and well-equipped. The owners have thought of everything. We enjoyed the kayaks, the rowboat the beach and the fire pit most of all. We had alot of fun fishing and caught two 17" large mouth bass a 28" pike and many bluegills. We released them all for someone else to catch. The cottage and lake were very peaceful and secluded. We are looking forward to a return trip next summer.
We rented the Lake Louise Getaway because we were visiting the area for a wedding. The house was perfect for us! There was so much space, and it had amenities galore! The house is very clean, and the beds are nice and comfortable! We enjoyed all the extras like the fire pit outside and the Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We also had fun playing pool, ping pong and foosball! This house is near Gaylord and is a great location for all that northern Michigan has to offer. The owner
takes great care in maintaining the property and communication with him was very smooth. I highly recommend the Lake Louise Getaway!
To start I must say that communication was very good and responsive .
The property is very well maintained and the home has many updates. The house is very clean and completely stocked with everything for a renters comfort.
There are so many extras that are described in the property description. We brought our dog and there were many supplies provided for our pet. The view of the cove was amazing and we were able to see an eagle fly by. The deck furniture are comfortable and the grills were newer and had all the supplies needed. We will return. Great rental

Great lake getaway!
The LLG has everything you could possibly need for your family lake vacation! Hans advertises a fully stocked kitchen, and he means it! Tons of pots, pans, a crock pot, a sandwich maker, blenders, coffee pots... everything! The house also has a high chair for the babies and a bed/food bowl for the dogs. When you first drive up, you're first view of the property is the garage, which needs a bit of work. But, don't let this deter you! The LLG is spacious and comfortable! The beach was perfect for the kids with lots of sand in and out of the water. No need for water shoes as the bottom is nice and soft. Boating and kayaking around the lake was stunning as well! If you're looking for high-end and brand new, this may not be the place for you. But, if you're looking for affordable, comfortable, and relaxing...then you'll love the LLG! We did!

Thanks for the review! I just want to point out that the appliances (fridge and stove/oven) are new within the last 2 years and this year I added a brand new 49" TV and 2 brand new couches and tables in the living room as well as a new couch in the basement.
As far as the garage, I am planning to install new garage doors along with a new entry door and hope to have them completed by the spring!
We were a group of 3 ‘older’ single ladies plus one couple, all with spaniels. We came to grouse hunt so we were gone first thing in the morning after coffee and quick breakfast. In the early evening we returned exhausted to this relaxing oasis. The yard area is large and we threw a few water retrieves for dogs in the tranquil pond. Two dogs slept in crates in the house, all others slept in the cars which worked out beautifully. This clean updated home is comfortable and well equipped for all kinds of games. Common space is very open and inviting. We were never at the house long enough to explore all that it offered. All 3 bedrooms share the 2 baths (none are attached to a bedroom). The bath off the kitchen has a particularly nice shower.
Great house! Thank you.
Listing was as promised and more. Property owners have clearly thought through all the details. Great place to stay if you’re looking to unwind “up north”.
