Gaylord-Otsego Fall-Winter 2026. Rent 2 nights- 2 nights free.

A big family cottage, over 2,500 of living space. Never been rented to until recently. Great for two families. Located on north end of Otsego Lake-best view of the entire lake. Private setting with state land marsh across the street. 100 feet of lake frontage. Open living room, dining room and kitchen. Plus four bedrooms and one bath in main part of cottage. Then off the kitchenk and a long hallway is a bunk room with a L-shaped coach and two bunk beds and another bathroom. Then off that part of the cottage is a 2 1/2 car garage to store snow mobiles or put sports equipment. Includes-linens, flatware, a charcoal grill, six kayaks and life vests, and two canoes A private dock for fishing. Place to put in kayaks and canoes. Unable to swim in front of cottage. Renters normally go to State Park to swim. Washer and dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Two flat screen TVs and cable. No pets allowed

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was very accommodating to all of our needs. Our family was able to spend quality time together without being crowded, plenty of room. Our last day there was super hot, and with no AC, a bit uncomfortable but being on the lake you hardly ever need air. Overall it was super! Thanks Bob!

Great Spot for Relaxing Getaway

We had a group of 5 adults and 9 children and this was a great place for us to relax, fish, grill, and hang out around the fire pit. The owner communicated well with us and checked on us when he heard there were storms that knocked out power at some homes in the area (we didn’t lose power). Thanks for a great stay, would definitely rent again.

Great Lake House

Great rental on Otsego Lake! Large waterfront rental that sleeps many, kitchen well stocked. The only negative is no swimming in front of cottage, but that was noted in the listing.

Annual Golf Outing with College Buddies

Location was perfect to play the Tree Tops golf courses. The property is at the north end of Otsego Lake and has a spectacular view. Comfortably fit our group of 10. Excellent communication with owner to stay informed.

Very Relaxing

Sleeping arrangements more than needed and worked well for our family. Great fire pit, everyone enjoyed the kayaks. More than needed of paper products and great selection of dishes. Wonderful laundry facilities.

Snowmobile Trip!

Perfect location for snowmobile trails with garage for storing sleds at night. House was clean and has plenty of room for a large group. Bob the owner is the best and I would put him at the top of my list.

Week at the lake

Bob was fantastic to work with, start to finish. It was a peaceful weekend. Close enough to stores for convenience if you forgot anything, but tucked away so you feel out of the chaos. The property had more than enough room. We would definitely stay again.

Winter wonderland!

I’m sure it’s great in the summer but we absolutely love this area in the winter. We booked for a long weekend of snowmobiling snow skiing and more! My kids spent hours and hours playing on the snow covered ice right out the back door! Ditch the tablets and YouTube and enjoy what winter in Gaylord has to offer. Bring a snowmobile or 5 plenty of room for parking and tinkering. Super close proximity to trail 7 a giant ice playground few steps away! Perfect winter retreat!

Otsego Lake Getaway

The facility was clean. There are some upgrades needed. Some are currently being done with more to come this fall. The owner Bob was very available and responsive to our needs. He communicated with us well. The setting is quiet and feels very private. We didn’t hear anybody all week. We had 2 families and the house is set up with 2 living areas which is quite nice. We shared the kitchen which was large and well stocked. The garage was very large and had a lot of room to keep our extras. The location is close to Gaylord and shopping. Overall it was a very good experience and we have already booked again for next year.

We’ve been coming here at least 5 years. It’s been very good for our needs and budget. If you’re looking for plush this may not be your style but it you need lots of room on the lake with a dock and close to shopping and town, this may be your place. The owner is very accessible and accommodating to our needs.

House is close to gas, parts, food, etc., and the trail head is only a few hundred feet away. Plenty of room for people and sleds.

It would be hard to find a place that size and location for a better price. Plenty of room inside and out for our family of adults. Bob is always great to work with and available via text for any needs or questions.

Bob is a great host the only issue you we had was the dock was kinda short for the pontoon we rented but it worked. Will rent again we absolutely loved having a fire pit and kayaks and plenty of room for everyone

Otsego Lake Rental

Great stay on the north end of Otsego Lake! Very large rental with room to spread out. Quiet neighborhood. The only negative is that kids can’t swim in front of the cottage, but that is mentioned in the listing so we were expecting to go to the State park. Great rental!
