In the Highland village of Brora, there are two delightful Holiday Cottages The Paddock and The Old Croft ( both sleep 6) for let in the Crofting community of Dalchalm, which is a quiet area 1 mile north of Brora and adjacent to the 12th Tee of Brora Golf Course with easy access to the beach and countryside.

The Paddock has three double bedrooms. Large sitting room, dining/kitchen room, shower room, utility room and a further large shower room and toilet upstairs.

Short breaks by arrangement

All linen and towels are included.

We took our dog with us, the large back garden was good for her to run around in. Also the walk across the golf course to the beach was nice and quick. We has some amazing sunrises while we were there. The property has everything you could need.We had some issues with the heating but that was quickly sorted.

A great property and a lovely location with just a short walk across the local golf course to the beach. Car transportation is a must as the local town does not currently offer taxis

The Paddock

Brilliant house, really well equipped and in stunning location. Well fenced garden which made having the dogs really easy. Loved hists.

No it isn’t in Dornoch, but Brora Golf Club is world class and Golspie not far behind. A remote setting and thus quiet and peaceful with friendly hosts. One shower is downstairs but if it is guys it is not a big deal.

Love the area owner lives opposite but is not intrusive .plenty of room -beds and sofas very comfortable beach nearby is spacious and deserted great way of blowing away the cobwebs .nicely positioned for exploring the beauty of the north east corner .only drag is that WiFi can be a bit inconsistent but would strongly recommend the house

Perfect stay at the beautiful part of Scotland

The property is absolutely amazing. Large, secure garden, walking distance from the beautiful beach where you can be just on your own for hours. Plenty to explore, amazing walks, we stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend it and hope to stay there again. Dawn and Robert were very nice and helpful. The house had everything we needed

Simply Amazing.

We loved our stay in Brora. The Paddock is actually a very large house at the end of a road that ends in a sheep pasture. There is a view of the ocean from the second floor! And there is a view of beautiful rolling hills from the kitchen! You wake up in the morning, walk across the golf course to the seashore -- and you may find that you're the only person on a vast and beautiful beach. The house is on the 12th tee of the golf course, but if you plan to play, you still need to drive to the clubhouse. Your friendly host is right across the street if you need anything; she was so very kind to our 2-year-old boy when he wanted to play with her dogs and borrow her sand toys. This gorgeous secluded setting is ideal for all who long for a quiet getaway to the Scottish Highlands. We live in California but we left our hearts in Brora are already dreaming of going back...

Absolutely everything we were looking for to enjoy our family holiday. House is lovely and very spacious. Beach is a 5 minute walk and lots of aactivities to do in Sutherland - Dunrobin Castle was a favourite. WIll be back again!!
