Clean and close to parks

The house is modern and very close to parks. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that we lacked one bath towel and some face/hand towels. Overall house is great and I would definitely stay there again.

Why stay at a hotel?

Loved the amenities of the resort, although too far to walk. Was not too crowded with great vibe. Condo was great but if you are arriving late, stop at the nearby Publix as the house has very little essentials. Would definitely come back.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our short stay, the property was very clean and well maintained. The only feedback I had was that the downstairs tub was very slippery and my mom fell in the shower, she was uninjured thankfully but we’d recommend some grippers for that tub.

great location!

This rental property is very convenient to all Disney World and Univeraal Studio theme park. We had a great time. The property was clean and the kids enjoy their own private pool.

Our stay at StoryLake

We enjoyed our stay at the house. However the carpet is worn and it kinda made it feel dirty even thought it wasn’t. The kitchen isn’t that well stocked & there are no beach towels in the house and very little bath towels. The place is a nice location and the house was nice overall

Home was in a great location and we'll kept

The home had enough space for all of us. The waterpark area is perfect for kids and adults. Notified the management about small items needing repair and they were responsive and friendly. Would recommend and already planning next year.

Nice location but needs some TLC

Great location and community pool. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo, the kitchen was not very well stocked, the were a lot of little issues that need attention as well. We were also disappointed that when we booked it said a heated pool but apparently it broke so we no longer had that option. Like the community but wouldn’t go back to this condo.

Could’ve being a 5 stars - but I give a 2

This house has potencial for a 5 stars, but….when we arrived at the house the floors weren’t vacuumed, and the fridge was dirty, we had to vacuum and clean the fridge, before moving in. Which I wasn’t going to complaint about it, but I am because there were so many stuff that happened that it’s worthy now to mention that as well. THE POOL HEATER WAS BROKE OUR WHOLE STAY, 10 days! We come from the north of the country, which is pretty cold in the end of the year, so we’ve being coming to Florida for the past 10 years for a family vacation and the part of the house we enjoy the most is the pool, specially with the kids, but the pool was freaking cold, and they said it would take days to fix it, which took our whole stay, and we left with the pool still not working. THAT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING! They return us the money, but the days we spend there without a pool and fun with the kids has no price. More than half of the outlets in the house don’t work, we had to blow dry our hair in the hallway, out of suddenly the electricity on the main floor went out, the breaker broke, and they had to call a electrician which come 2 days after, we had no light in the bathroom to take a shower, and bathroom without electricity. It was always something, the grill was filthy dirty, and only half of it worked. So if you can buy a grill at Walmart, it will be cheaper than using theirs in the house. The house is located in a area where the back of the house where the pool is there is no sun, only shades. Overall, I would not recommend this house, if you can …run to another house. The only thing that worked was their responsiveness, they always responded to our emails pretty quick, but..can’t say the same about the issues, those took days or were never solved.

Very nice property

I am very picky and this property met my expectations. It was clean and convenient to Walmart and the premium outlets. The kids really enjoyed the pool and family quite time on the patio. All the rooms are big and clean. The kids twin mattresses were uncomfortable but overall I would recommend this property to family and friends. I loved the open floor plan and having a bedroom and bathroom on the main level. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great property

Overall a great property. More than enough room for our family of 5 (kids 9,7,5). Kids loved the out door pool! We were close to Disney (10-15min), parking at residence was easy. Only things I would keep in mind when booking. If you are able bring beach towels. We didn’t as we were flying and trying to pack light so we used the dyer a lot! No condiments! So salt/pepper and things you take for granted are not available. We loved that there was a publiks close by. We actually got groceries delivered when we arrived which saved us time! Overall had a great time! Thanks!

This was a cheap place to stay and it was reflected in its cleanliness We found someone else’s underwear in our bathroom The neighborhood was ok but not to safe The gate we were is was broken the hole time and we had to drive around a while to find a way to get in Lacked supplies like kitchen towels

Beautiful place bad time and management

Due to the fact of the Covid 19 outbreak I attempted to cancel my reservation but they would not give any sort of refund unless it was over 2 weeks notice. So we decided to go because I was not going let that money go to waste even though everything was closing, including the MLB spring training games. Anyways I tried to be understanding because I am sure this is hurting many businesses and probably many people were cancelling on them. However when we arrive we had set the alarm that night since we have a little one that opens doors, the next morning we tried to turn the alarm off the code did not work. We tried using the after hours emergency number but that was apparently the same as the regular business hours which is 9-5. We attempted to call alarm company too but they could not disarm the system. We went ahead and left the condo with the alarm going off. I was not able to get anyone from management on the phone until almost 10am and then it still took them a little bit to get it off. The condo and the area was great, I would stay in the resort again just not with Orlando Short Rental.

Great place to stay for Disney trip

Would have given 5 stars for this property if the pool would have been clean when we arrived. Called the property manager and she got the pool company to clean the pool. Very responsive property manager and great location. Great condo for a Disney trip. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a Disney condo.

Very pleasant short stay

The house was very clean and everything was in good condition. Beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the trundle bunk beds. The house is adequately equipped for a vacation, but we did not do a lot of cooking . The house could use a few more beach towels, since you have to take your own beach towels to the resort pool. Storey Lake is a pleasant community located conveniently close to Disney, Universal, shopping, and restaurants. Uber/Lyft was easy to use and inexpensive. A few tips for future renters: You need to lock the front door with the code when you leave - it does not automatically lock. You need to bring beach towels to the resort pool. The mini golf at the resort pool is not free. Current price is $5.00 kids, $7.00 adults. The food and beverages at the resort clubhouse are good quality and very reasonably priced. The cabanas at the clubhouse are free to use on a first come first served basis, which is awesome. There is a lot of shade and seating at the club. Our elementary school age kids were very entertained there for three days. Lazy river and water slides were a lot of fun. Would definitely rent here again.

Great Condo

We were very pleased with our stay at Storey Lake. The whole complex is really nice. Very convenient to the parks. Grocery store and Walmart 2 minutes away. Love having a pool in the condo for the times when you just want a quick dip. All-in-all we were very pleased.

Beautiful, clean house! Amazing resort!

We loved our stay at Storey Lake. The house was immaculate with plenty of space for all of us! The pool and grill were a great addition. We did see a need for plastic/kid cups and Tupperware but we’re pleased with everything else in the kitchen and we’re fine making do with what was there. The resort was truly amazing and we didn’t want to leave. Great location and close to everything! We can’t wait to go back!
