My brothers and sisters came to town for Thanksgiving to visit my mother. This beautifully renovated historic house was perfect for the family and in a convenient location. Listing was accurate and had everything we needed. Would stay there again.

Love this house!

We had a small gathering of family and friends celebrating several events and this house was absolutely the best place to do so. The house is beautifully decorated with amenities that go above and beyond all expectations. The host was easy to work with and very responsive. We hope to visit again soon.

Patsy, we apologize you did not see that the dormered upstairs bedrooms had small closets due to the fact that the upstairs has curved plaster walls. I do not believe we had advertised the home to have extensive closets but will go back through our listing so future guests are aware this is a historic home and closet space in the three small bedrooms upstairs is limited to storing luggage and folded items and cannot accommodate clothing being hung. We regret you didn't bring this to our attention during your stay several months ago, we would have been more than happy to come up with a creative solution for your closet/storage needs! We strive for The Fogleman House to feel like a home and appreciate this feedback for future guests. -Faith

Perfect Retreat

This vacation rental was just perfect. The hosts put thought into this property and it shows. We stayed in this home for over a month while working in the area and it was perfect for us. In addition to the home being spacious and supplied with everything we needed it was conveniently located as well. We often walked into town to grab dinner and drinks. Just two blocks away is the new arboretum park area perfect for morning walks. When a simple issue arose with a small appliance the host was responsive and the issue resolved very quickly. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

We visited the area for a long weekend and found this beautiful renovated historic gem appointed with tasteful furnishings. The hosts, Faith and Josh, thought of everything that someone might need to make their stay comfortable, like being at home; comfy beds, fluffy towels, including a makeup face cloth, plenty of storage space, games for the kids, plenty of dishes and quality cookware. They even supplied us with creamers and sweetener after realizing that it hadn't been stocked in the home prior to our arrival. Additionally, they were responsive to our questions, especially since they live next door. We only knew this because they rold us not because they imposed upon our stay. I would gladly stay again.
