About this property

Large Waterfront Home Nestled in Bamboo Forest with Private Pool, Burlington NC

This secluded, three-story home is located on a private 10-acre compound in a bamboo forest in Burlington. A quiet and scenic location, it is convenient to the I-85/I-40 corridor, restaurants, medical care, shopping and Elon University. Floor to ceiling windows overlook a large inground pool with lots of outdoor seating and a two-acre fishing pond with a gazebo, and 2 kayaks.Featuring hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace and a sunroom, the 4,500 square foot house will sleep up to 15 people. The first floor's open plan provides a spacious den, kitchen and dining area, not far from a ground floor master bedroom with private bath and large walk in closet.High speed internet, TV, ceiling fans, washer/dryer and more round out the offerings. The second floor has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's even a pool table in the basement, along with another bedroom and bath. Bamboo surrounds the perimeter of the property along with Japanese maples and prolific flowers in warm months. We look forward to sharing our property with you.

High Point University Graduation

We wanted a big house with a swimming pool and nice outdoor shelter if it rained to enjoy time with family and friends who joined us to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Nice location. Pool was fun for all. There's no hot tub as listed in amenities. Only issue we had was upstairs bedroom got very warm from afternoon sun beating in the windows. Some insulated drapes would greatly help. Felt private from neighbors and nice view from porch of the pool and pond. Good for families.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving retreat with our family! The property is gorgeous. We really enjoyed walking around the property and viewing the beautiful ornamental trees, and landscape! Perfect for our wedding weekend!

We decided to rent this house for our out of town wedding party during our wedding weekend. Everyone was so impressed! The location was perfect and the yard was beautiful. The beds were all around comfortable and there was so much space for everyone to hang out and relax. It was also great to have plenty of bathrooms for everyone. We really enjoyed our weekend here.

Comfortable and spacious

The property was very comfortable and clean. We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of space, with large bedrooms and general living areas. The outdoor pool area, overlooking a lake was the perfect place to relax late in the day. And the hosts were very responsive. Excellent stay.
