Charming Parisian apartment. Location was excellent and communication with owner was great. We had a great time staying here. Metro is right outside front door and many shops and restaurants all throughout the neighborhood. Two of the bathrooms were a little tricky but we handled it. Overall a great spot.
Great location and apartment! It is huge and a lot of Paris character and charm. The lighting was awful in the master bedroom but made up for with the charm and roominess off the pad
The location was good! My family and I dined at a restaurant recommended by the host. It was expensive but okay—not the best food. The stay was fine. Kitchen had many flies, beds were comfortable but short, especially for taller people. One big complaint was there was construction—that wasn’t disclosed before our stay, and had construction men on our balcony peaking into two of the bedroom. Really unfortunate experience, and wish that this was disclosed. Very slow elevator.
Over all a great location but we did not feel safe with the scaffolding being directly at window level and we were not able to see out of any of the windows. (I had contacted the owner when booking because of the reviews) We were promised the apartment construction was over and the y were only painting and sanding. we arrived to scaffolding covering windows and all over the hallways with banging starting at 7:30 am. The sheets and towels were disgusting we have to go to a store to buy sheets and towels. There were cameras all over the apartment and the internet never worked (we were there for work so it was definitely an issue) We arrived early for our check in at 2 pm instead of 3 after getting approval from the owner. We were dropping our bags and changing our clothing to go straight to meetings. When we arrived the owner was upset that were were there changing as originally approved. Also he tried to get us to check out at 8 am after we were promised a 10 am check out. and the apartment couches and rooms were not clean with dirt all over the leather couches and the place smelled of smoke. Buyer beware . The visuals in the images do not match the actual place. Holes in the curtains and really not elevated at all.
Excellent location between Louvre and Opera; Metro, BigBus Hop On Hop Off bus right at your doorstep. Needs better cleaning under furniture; refrigerator didn’t cool well; kind of short on towels; had to take out our garbage as maid didn’t do it. Overall though we loved the location and spaciousness of the apartment. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend it to others.

The apartment is very large and exactly as described. Being nearly 3,000 sq ft in Paris’s 1st arrondissement is a truly unique experience, and the location is exceptional. That said, the major issue was that the building was undergoing heavy construction during our stay. Workers started every day at 8:00 a.m. and continued until 4:00 p.m. The elevator was completely out of service for the entire week, requiring us to climb five floors each time. At one point, the electricity was also cut for an entire day.None of this was disclosed to us in advance. While the owner was very pleasant, he failed to be honest about these conditions, which significantly impacted our stay. My elderly mother was effectively confined to the apartment for the whole week, as she was unable to go up and down the stairs repeatedly. With proper disclosure, we could have made an informed decision. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency overshadowed what is otherwise an exceptional property.

Fraudulent Charges - beware of property owner
Overall the property is as advertised. The issue with this owner/property is the fraudulent accusations and subsequent charges (1,000)to fix an issue that was present when we checked into the property and caused an injury to my son's foot. It was quite unfortunate as the apartment is charming and huge and fit our needs perfectly. It is in a great location - a 10 minute walk away from the Louvre with many cafes and patisseries within a few steps.
The property was much larger than we had anticipated with lots of space for our family of 5. The listing was misleading in that there was no laundry and no wi-fi / tv. Without the internet it was difficult to plan our days and routes of travel. The other thing that would have been nice to know is that there is a lot of construction going on right outside the windows. It was very loud and the workers were literally right outside the bedroom. Our family tends to like to go back to the rental in the afternoon for a nap before going out for the evening, but we couldn't with all of the noise.Overall, we would recommend, but think that the listing should be revised if not all of the amenities are available.

Falsely advertised and false promises
Though the apartment is large and in a convenient location, it is not true that it is air conditioned (except for the Master bedroom) and the owner promised to drop off cooling units and never did. We were traveling with elderly family members and tried communicating all week about the heat, but only false promises were made.
We were traveling from the USA to Paris and were very excited to get to our location - we arrived early due to an early morning flight and had to wait for the cleaner to finish the apartment which was still dirty when we were allowed in. It's listed that you can use the washer and dryer, so we packed thinking we would be able to wash our clothes but were not told that the units were not available for us to use but we had to pay the cleaner to come wash our clothing. There were also cameras in the interior of the apartment that we were not told about either - they said they were not plugged in or recording, but how do we know that they were not backed up by battery power? BUT THE BIGGEST complaint was that there was construction being done in the building that we were not told was going on, it made it impossible to stay in the apartment during the day or while trying to adjust to the time change from jet lag...we will not rebook here, beware when booking this location, it's not as great as it seems online...

We kindly allowed you to check in a bit earlier than the official time, even though the apartment was still being cleaned. The cleaner was available to assist you throughout your stay, and as we explained upon your arrival, you had 3 free hours of her service, which included the possibility to have your laundry done.
As for the cameras inside the apartment, they are not connected and therefore not functional. They are simply there as a deterrent in case of burglary – which is extremely rare, especially given that the building is secured, but it’s always better to be cautious.
Regarding the construction work, we were caught off guard as well. These were unplanned and not regular works, and we did not receive prior notice ourselves.
