Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside.
We book this chalet to visit family who live in leysdown when we arrvied the host hadnt provided any check in details so i messages asking for the. had no response also tried calling received no response whatsoever. Absolutely disgusting given we advised we were staying with our 11 month old baby. we were fortunate that we could stay with family.I did walk down to the chalrt as i know the area well amd found it not ready for anyone to stay in and also from the looks of things not worth the money they charge per night. Anyway dont book unless you want to find yourself with no where to stay!

The house was clean, it has a good location.
We can hear the traffic and the space is tight.
There are all appliances needed but no outlet to plug them in the kitchen.
It has a musty smell.
Rooms has no door, just a transparent curtain, and thz single bed not confortable
The host was not reactive.
!! There's no hot tub (as written in the description, and then deleted when I asked for it) and no wifi. The tv don't work very well (the images cuts a lot)
It's too expensive for value for money
