This spacious seven-bedroom farmhouse is the perfect escape for families and groups comfortably accommodating up to fourteen guests (plus two infants in cots). One of the highlights of Llwyncelyn Farmhouse is the luxurious, fast-heating Finnish hot tub where you can indulge in a soothing soak while gazing out at the breathtaking countryside vistas across to the Preseli Hills.
As you step inside Llwyncelyn Farmhouse, you’ll be greeted by the inviting ambience of this lovingly restored farmhouse. The centrepiece of the home is the large open plan kitchen-dining room, complete with modern appliances and ample seating around the farmhouse table, perfect for socialising and enjoying delicious meals together. French doors lead from the dining area onto a patio, where you can dine al fresco and soak up the tranquillity of the surrounding landscape. The spacious living room offers a cosy retreat, featuring a flame-effect electric stove and a Smart TV for relaxing evenings with loved ones.
A well-stocked bookcase including local interest books plus numerous board and other games complete your evening entertainment. Patio doors open onto the large gardens, where you can unwind amidst stunning views across to the Preseli Hills. The ground floor also boasts a convenient twin bedroom with adjustable beds and an en-suite shower room, ideal for guests seeking ease of access. Upstairs, you will find six further beautifully appointed bedrooms, providing comfortable accommodation for everyone in your party.
Llywncelyn Farmhouse is perfectly located for a plethora of activities for the whole family. Those who enjoy walking and outdoor life can find the Preseli Hills half an hour’s drive away heading north; the Pembrokeshire coastal path can be found to the south and west and can be easily reached by car. Further south, the bustling seaside resort of Tenby, also renowned for its medieval walls, can be reached in half an hour.
For young families, a visit to the area would not be complete without a trip to the county’s premier theme parks including Heatherton World of Activities and Folly Farm among many others. Those wishing to venture further afield will find the city of St David’s, with its magnificent cathedral; Pembroke Castle; boat trips to the islands of Skomer and Skokholm; the National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Laugharne, of Dylan Thomas fame, all within an hour’s drive. National Trust and Cadw members should not forget their membership cards as they take advantage of castles, gardens woodlands and car parking in the area.
