I can’t overstate what a wonderful vacation this was. The property was amazing and the hosts were so accommodating. They bent over backwards for us and we highly recommend staying here.

It was such a joy to have a well equipped kitchen with every conceivable size and type of pots/pans and knives that were actually sharp! Host Jeanna was very responsive to questions. We had a wonderful stay with our friends in a lovely environment.

Great location, close to multiple boat launches on Lake Shasta. Kayaking or paddle boarding is best at Whiskeytown Lake. Pool was much appreciated with the sunny hot temperatures (100). Blackstone grill was the cooks favorite. Perfect destination location.

What a wonderful weekend we had, our family of 6 adults and 5 children 5 and under completely enjoyed the cabin and pool. Jeanna the host was amazing and went above and beyond for our every request. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Vacation House

We had a lovely Christmas stay. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and well stocked with all the necessities for our family. The host was very attentive and reached out right away when there was a power issue to make sure we were taken care of. We felt well supported and comfortable throughout our stay. The only thing missing was a little Christmas Snow We would absolutely stay here again.

Quiet and Comfortable

We had a bachelor party here and it was delightful, it was a big place that housed 9 of us comfortably, enough amenities that kept us entertained and relaxed, quiet and far enough from neighbors that we weren’t bothering anyone. It was a lovely stay!

The cabin was thoroughly modern but has a homey, rustic feel. comfortable for all our guests. The backyard is especially welcoming with the clean, fresh pool and furniture.

Family Vacation

Great family vacation! The cabin/house was perfect for the seven of us. The highlight was definitely the backyard with pool! Very peaceful sitting out in the patio with the view of forest. We would definitely rent again!

Lakehead Getaway

The home, pool and wooded setting was so peaceful and relaxing. The home was spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating. The pool was amazing. Swimming in a private pool in the woods set the stage for the whole vacation. Unique, cozy and relaxing sums it up. One of the best family rentals we have stayed in.

Cozy cabin that caters to friends and family

Second time renting this cabin house for a week. 2023 & 2024 summer family and friends vacation. Very nice and clean. Plenty of sleeping space and a pool is a plus for summer get away! Property manager was on top of any situation!!

This property was eveything we thought it would be and more. Quiet and somewhat isolated yet close to town and Redding. Everyday we used the pool and it brought so much joy. The sitting areas outside are great, no skimping there, we used the bbq and it was great. The log cabin feel was something you can't find much of these days. The getting there was easy peasy. The place was so clean and well stocked, the spices were plentiful. Having a refrig that dispensed cold water was great for the kids. Games galore, DVD's for miles. The game room did not disappoint. Nothing was disappointing at this wonderful spot. It is a do-over for us next year.

Enjoyed our Time

There were 8 of us staying and it worked out just fine for us. Really enjoyed the pool and back yard. Recommend coming prepared for mosquitoes but other wise super great home to be at while not on the lake. Road into house is a little steep and narrow but we made it fine towing a boat and the ramp access options close to the house were perfect, especially with the lake full.

Cozy Cabin Near Redding!

We had a retreat up in Redding during a 3 day weekend. Caitlin was extremely helpful giving us directions to the cabin and helping us feel at home. Cabin was well furnished with furniture, beds, entertainment, and kitchen appliances. Great location; you can really see the stars at night! The whole property is really well maintained and we ran in to no problems the whole weekend. Really appreciated all the hospitality and everyone had a great time!
