Arbor Lane Cabin - authentic & charming tucked away cabin, yet near it all.

This one bedroom (sleeps 3), one-bathroom authentic cabin just outside Pilot Mountain offers privacy and solitude for maximum peace and relaxation for your getaway experience. Built from refurbished wood from an old tobacco barn, this cabin is one-of-a-kind and is in the heart of North Carolina Wine Country, and home to many leading wineries and vineyards. Beautiful nearby towns of Pilot Mountain, Mount Airy, Dobson, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, are within minutes of driving.

This property is just 2.5 miles from JoLo Vineyard/Endposts Restaurant, and minutes from numerous other local wineries throughout the region. Terrific restaurants and many outdoor activities are located within easy reach of the cabin. Pilot Mountain State Park is a 5-8 minute drive and a perfect place for hiking and viewing this majestic mountain.

Many state parks are close by: Pilot Mountain State Park; Hanging Rock State Park; Stone Mountain State Park; and the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as zip lines, rafting, tubing, canoeing, art galleries, golf, antiques, dining, numerous vineyards and wineries, historic downtowns, and much more!

The rustic cabin offers all modern amenities: WiFi throughout, a full size kitchen with basic cooking and eating utensils, oven/four burner stove top, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, and 12 cup drip coffee maker. The kitchen table seats four, and the counter height bar seats an additional four people. A beautiful rock fireplace with gas logs is also located in the kitchen.

The living area is located on the main floor with a couch, love seat, rocking chairs, smart TV and DVD player. A second rock fireplace with gas logs is located in the living area as well. The bathroom is located on the main floor with linens provided.

A large bedroom/sleeping loft is upstairs with a queen bed, twin bed and sitting area. The ceiling is vaulted and exposed beams of reclaimed tier poles from an old tobacco barn make this space a cozy area for sleeping and relaxing.

A wrap around porch with rocking chairs and a porch swing is located outside the cabin. This perfect space for morning coffee and evening drinks overlooks a pond with a beautiful water fountain, and gorgeous open fields. A small creek is a few steps away from the cabin.

The Springhouse - a second cabin on the property, with an operating water wheel overlooking the pond. The springhouse is yet another perfect place unwind and watch the water fountain. The springhouse is a getaway within a getaway.

This is the best place my husband and I have ever stayed. It was very clean and when I say clean, I mean clean, it’s definitely somewhere you don’t mind laying your head at night and also feel safe. The view is breathtaking. I could sit on the wrap around porch for hours and look at The Spring House and the fountain in the pond. It’s perfect for a couple who needs some peace and quiet. It’s not located in the center of the main attractions, but right where we wanted to be. It’s close enough we could drive in any direction and be anywhere, Mt Airy, Pilot Mountain, Sparta, Fancy Gap, Galax, Elkin, The Blue Ridge Parkway or just anywhere you want to be. Or, if you want to cook, just hang out at The Cabin. We only met Deann, but we asked and she shared the family history of this property, it made my heart smile We loved it, highly-recommend and we will return! Thank you for everything Deann!!

Perfect Fall Getaway!

Arbor Lane Cabin offers the best of both worlds because it's tucked away in the woods, but also close enough to hiking, dining, and shopping for convenience. The cabin is beautifully appointed and has all the modern conveniences, but also has a rustic feel. The grounds and spring house make for an relaxing experience.

This cabin was just what we needed. Away from the hustle and bustle. Yet close to all kinds of things. The cabin was excellent. Check in process was easy and hassle free. The owners put a little extra with the welcome notes they left for us. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Quiet hideaway

We were delighted that the cabin was tucked away, out of sight and peacefully quiet. The cabin has a kitchen stocked with anything renters could need. The porch swing provides a scenic view, perfect for taking the first sips of coffee in the morning.

We lived this place! It’s a excellent location within short distance to Pilot Mountain and Mt Airy! It was fun visiting both this places but being able to relax and just enjoy nature was the best. Beautiful and peaceful!

The cabin looked just like the pictures. It was so beautiful. The only thing we saw moving was wildlife, including a gorgeous buck that keeping his eye on us. Furniture was comfortable. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but we were only 5 to 10 minutes from toen.

Great getaway cabin

Very nice, quiet, secluded cabin. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Lots of seating especially on the wrap around porch. The fountain is peaceful. Saw deer close to the cabin multiple times. Pay attention to the photos. A lot of stairs: in/out, kitchen to living room, living room to bedroom. Bathroom is on the living room level.

Gorgeous, Secluded, Property

What a beautiful, serene, location to soak up God’s creation! We loved the pond and spring house, the stream and woods. Although we were an easy 5 minutes from town and the grocery, the location offered complete privacy. There are several great places to visit, whether you’re into hiking the state park, browsing boutiques and little restaurants, or enjoying the museums! The cabin is very rustic, but comfortable. Realize that the kitchen, living room, and bedroom are each on their own floor, so there are a lot of steps. DeeAnn was an excellent host and immediately responsive if we had a question! There were lots of personal touches around the cabin that made us feel very welcomed and cared for!

Absolutely Fabulous

We have sought out and stayed in many NC cabins over many years. This one is our favorite one. It was very clean, equipped with all we needed and a few personal touches from the owner made it all the more inviting. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable. The detail of the structures were done so attentively. The property is gorgeous and away enough from the road traffic. Birds and bunnies everywhere to enjof from the porch. Communication was great with the owners from reservation until check out. It is the perfect place for an escape! Hope to return many more times.

it was beautiful up there and very quiet. only complaint I have is I did not know in advance it had 3 stories. I am not very good with stairs anymore so I stayed mainly on the 2nd floor. It was my first time guess I should have looked at the cabin closer when I made reservations.
