Snuggle up by the fireplace or relax in the hot tub, surrounded by woods and a stream on a real working farm. This genuine log cabin is located just five minutes from Interstate 77, tucked away in the foothills of North Carolina's Yadkin Valley Wine Region.
Guests soak up modern day luxuries while returning to a simpler time by enjoying rocking chairs or a swing on a front porch, while planning the next days' adventure. Visit Mayberry, Stone Mountain, Pilot Knob, or even the filming sight of The Longest Ride. Other attractions include numerous wineries and the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent restaurants in the area combine great food and unique experiences. Many antique stores are available for "treasure seekers" in nearby Elkin, Mount Airy, Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Fairview.
Fall brings colorful mountain views, the Autumn Leaves Festival (approximately 200,000 visitors) in Mount Airy and twice a year (Memorial Day and Labor Day) a huge "Hillsville, Virginia Flea Market"(enticing more than 500,000 people to the area).

The cabin was perfect. All the amenities plus extras that you would need for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. It felt like you were going back in time with the look feel and decorations of the cabin was just what we needed.

My wife (Crystal) and I love coming here. I think this is the fourth time we've stayed here while visiting the area. It's so quiet and peaceful here and the cabin is nice and comfortable. Of course sipping coffee while sitting in the hot tub in the morning is a big plus.

Back in time with modern amenities

Come prepared to be “rural” (remote), and you will thoroughly enjoy your stay! Trust the directions to the cabin and you will be glad to escape the busy pace of modern life. Fire flies and hot tub were a highlight!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and it was peaceful. There were two reasons we scored it down. The views were a wall beside a cow pasture and woods. The location of the cabin was on a working farm. The farm also had two lagoons.

Great visit

Very pleasant stay in January. If privacy is desired, can’t do much better than this…just me and a few cows keeping an eye on each other. Im looking forward to a summertime visit.

Perfect Wedding Anniversary Getaway

We loved this cozy cabin! It was very secluded, away from it all. The little creek out back was adorable. We had plans in Downtown Elkin and it was very easy to get to from the cabin. We'd Love to stay here again.

Beautiful Cabin Stay

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin off the main road. It is nestled by a soothing creek and offers a great getaway from the city life. We enjoyed spending time at the cabin playing games and relaxing after a days hike and spending time with family. I highly recommend this cabin.
