I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is the cutest cabin with the best hosts (including Mr. Jingles)! Our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back.
This was my favorite vaca rental I have ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the US and out of the country. The hosts were great and we loved the farm. My Mom and I enjoyed cooking at the cabin and sitting on the porches. I will definately be back.
Our stay here at the cabin was absolutely wonderful!! The property is beautiful and it was fun to see the animals. Our host was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back and stay again!
We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts were so sweet and the host cat was the purr-fect little bright spot to each morning. He always greeted us coming and going. The cabin is in a very nice location and is very nicely decorated. We would love to come back if we are in the area again.
Our impression…perfect! From the quiet still mornings with coffee out in the swing with Mr Jingles to the late afternoon walks to visit the farm animals and enjoy the scenery was a joy to experience. The cabin was perfect. We fell in love as soon as we drove up. We definitely recommend this to anyone!
Lovely little cottage, better than expected. And we enjoyed the outdoor cat that lived there, he's a friendly old guy. Loved having coffee on the porch with the cat. Very relaxing and refreshing. Hosts were wonderful to deal with. Looking forward to staying again.
Was a beautiful cozy cabin in a quiet country location. Hosts Randy and Kim were a delight to meet and get to know. Their little farm with various animals was a pleasure to see and visit. We hope to visit again in the Fall in the future. Thank you again, Randy and Kim
We had a wonderful, peaceful 3 day stay and would love to return. We had everything we needed and appreciated the snacks and cake for our anniversary. Thank you!!
There not enough stars for this place. Super nice and cozy and perfect location. Very nice landscaping and we loved Mr Jingles he was such a great greeter. We hate to leave but will be back.

About the host
Hosted by Randy Hicks
Randy and Kim Hicks built the cabin in 2006. We have put a lot of love and hard work in the cabin to make it extremely nice, landscaped, and very clean.
Why they chose this property
It was our dream to have a log cabin so we built it on our farm. We have a lot of people coming through to visit Mount Airy or Mayberry. We have enjoyed meeting the people that have stayed. It has been a blessing to us and the people that have stayed.
What makes this property unique
This cabin is very peaceful. The animals provide a great atmosphere. You are out of town, but so close to restaurants and shopping areas. You are only about 10 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.
