Step into the cottage and you will open into the lounge...

*Lounge*

The cosy lounge has a comfy two seater sofa and two other occasional chairs. The TV + Firestick enables you to log on onto your Netflix accounts and watch your favourite TV shows. The large sash window looks out onto the street, with hardly any passing traffic and the odd person walking by on their way to the town 's many shops or the majestic sweep of Viking Bay.

*Dining Area*

The large dining table is perfect for a hearty breakfast, a home cooked dinner or fish n chips! The table seats 4 people. There is also a comfy chair where you can curl up and read your favourite book. In the sideboard, we have lots of board games for young and old alike.

*Kitchen*

The compact kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, a cooker with hob, microwave, a small dishwasher, toaster/kettle etc. All you need to rustle up a holiday meal. We also have two cafetieres (large and small), a moka pot and a milk frother. We also provide coffee (whole beans) and tea.

*Garden*

A lovely courtyard garden with garden seating for 4 people. It's a peaceful, sunny spot and a perfect haven after a busy day on the beach. There is a BBQ for your use (please bring your own coals and clean up after use). You'll also find buckets, spades etc in the wooden garden box.

*Stairs*

The stripped wood staircase leads you to upstairs where you'll find two bedrooms and the shower room. Please note the stairs are quirky in this old cottage and not suitable for the infirm.

*Master Bedroom*

Kingsize bed with comfortable mattress. There is plenty of storage with a chest of drawers and hanging rail. The large sash window provides lots of light to this room.

*Twin bedroom*

Across the landing is the twin room, which features two comfortable beds, a large cupboard for storage and a window that looks over the courtyard garden.

*Shower room*

Lovely, light and airy shower room, with a walk in shower, WC and basin with a mirror over.

About the host

Hosted by Rob

Host profile image
I grew up spending every summer on the North Kent Coast, exploring seaside towns from Whitstable to Ramsgate. Broadstairs was always the place that felt special, and I’ve kept returning ever since. Hosting gives me the chance to share that feeling with others. I’m a verified Superhost with a passion for creating a warm, comfortable stay, and I genuinely enjoy helping guests make the most of their time here.

Why they chose this property

Broadstairs has a timeless charm — golden beaches, Victorian architecture, cosy cafés, cliff‑top walks, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Everything is close together, so you can wander from the cottage to the promenade, restaurants, and Viking Bay in minutes. It’s a place that feels both peaceful and full of life, and that balance is exactly why I chose it.

What makes this property unique

For me, McEnroe Cottage is a cosy, thoughtfully furnished Victorian home tucked away on a quiet street just behind the main high street. Guests love the peaceful location paired with the convenience of being only moments from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The cottage has fast WiFi, a smart entertainment setup, a welcoming layout, and a warm, homely feel that makes it easy to relax after a day exploring Broadstairs. It’s a comfortable, practical base with the personal touches of a small, independent host.
