Stayed at the cottage for 2 nights . A bucket list trip to watch Notre Dame Football game. Great !!!

The home was nice and comfortable… it served our purpose well. The price was reasonably and the owner answered all my questions. I would and am hoping to stay there again in the future. 👍

Perfect house/location

I'm a life long Chicago resident that loves the city but that also loves to get away. I enjoy hiking and being out doors and some of my favorite places to go are never that far from home. I have an amazing daughter, who is always up for a good day trip! When we do go out of town we love to visit Colorado and can spend hours hiking in the mountains! As a guest of many vacation homes, I hope to provide the comforts and amenities enjoyed as a host.

Why they chose this property

In 1971 my grandparents came to visit a home located across the street from this property. My grandmother loved the area so much that she told my grandpa that she would love to one day buy a home in that area. Upon leaving their friend's home, a for sale sign was being placed on the cottage window and the rest is history. The house remained in the family until 11 years ago when it was sold out of the family. As luck would have it (and my grandma's heavenly intervention) I stumbled across the house being for sale and I knew I couldn't let this gem pass me by. I'm now the happy and proud owner of my gram's cottage and the place where so many childhood memories were made.

What makes this property unique

This is a cozy cottage located just across the street from the lake. The lake is visible from all enterances. On colder winter nights you can cozy up to the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate! The home is located perfectly at the end of the dead end which means no cars will be driving past the house. Come sit on your deck, and enjoy yourself.
