Amorini House is situated in a secluded yet inviting setting, which creates the perfect space to host family and friends.

These refined accommodations comfortably sleep 12 guests, with each room featuring original artwork, one-of-a-kind objects and elegant furniture unlike any other seasonal rental. The kitchen, living and dining rooms are part of an open-floor plan that fosters camaraderie. Seat a party of 12 at the dining table for a formal meal, or simply cozy up to the large kitchen island that seats six. A fully functioning and spacious kitchen can play host to several cooks or just head outside to use the sizable gas grill.

The home also features an expansive sun deck off the kitchen, giving the visitor a 360- degree view of friends in the living room and outdoor space. The private deck is filled with comfortable furniture for lounging, playing and dining. A heated pool is the focal point of this spot- perfect for socializing while being able to watch the kids enjoy the water. A large play area features a treehouse and swings near the property’s fire pit, which boasts plenty of seating for evening conversation and marshmallow roasting. Follow the trails through the woods on this 5-acre land for some solitude, or rally friends to play a game of volleyball on the Olympic-sized sand court.

The house is close to several beaches and the Michigan dunes, but is only a short walk to the sand and water at Union Pier. Local eateries and ice cream shops make for the perfect break before heading back to the relaxation and comfort at the Amorini House…

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put all used linens in laundry room and start a few load laundry
Put all furniture back in house and on deck if moved
Empty trash from house and put in bins. If any bins have more than half full plz move bins to street.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Total max persons at all times not to exceed 12. Small gathering needs to be approved otherwise deposit will not be returned.
If you use grill, clean it thoroughly night before checkout. Remove grills, oven off, let sit an hour, water and pumus stone to clean, empty grease

Had a terrific family weekend getaway here! We all had tons of space to enjoy and relax in! Pictures posted don’t do the property justice, the owners did an amazing job decorating to make the space feel inviting and cozy! Will definitely be back again!

The property is perfect for a group of friends. The kitchen is big enough that some people could be cooking and others could be at either the island or at the kitchen table. We got very lucky and the weather was nice, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful back deck. We saw a family of deer wandering through the yard. It was very relaxing. Just what we needed.

The house was amazing. There was so much room! It’s nice that almost every bedroom had a king size bed. The kitchen and living room was great as we played games and just chatted! The pool looked nice but the season was over unfortunately! I would definitely come back to stay at Elena’s - she was a great host!

A lovely place to stay in southwest Michigan. Convenient to many things to do and wonderful places to eat! We were a group of ladies who pledged the same sorority in 1967 and do a fun trip every September. We loved SW Michigan; the host for our home went above and beyond to ensure we had a great visit. Just a word of caution....the stairs going up to 5 of the 6 bedrooms are a bit steep for some people. We loved the room we all had to spread out when we wanted to, but also the areas where all 7 of us could gather were a bonus! We even got to use the pool on a very warm September afternoon.....thanks to our host driving 2 hours each way to bring a part for the pool heater! I have never seen such a well-equipped home or a home that had so many interesting pieces to look at. We all give it 5*!

Interior of property clean. Plenty of space for our group of 6 to gather, eat, relax, sleep. My only disappointment was the exterior. The pergola area was very dirty. Furniture all covered. Under covers was dirt, cobwebs, rust on chairs. There were no cushions for chairs. When I told the owner, her response was disappointing.

Fabulous property

This property is absolutely amazing. The outdoor pool deck is fantastic even better than the photos show. Everyone in our group from grandparents to 18 month old had a wonderful time. The kitchen area in particular is outstanding and incredibly well stocked with everything you need. Our bed was probably the best I’ve ever slept in and showers are great. The owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with at all times.

Comfortable, relaxing, peaceful.

The only thing I wish is that it was May which is when the pool is available. That would have been the topper. However, this place was awesome, including the little love nook next door. I rented that for my Mom and her new husband. If you're looking for a relaxing, nice place- check this out. There were 13 adults in the main house and two in the nook, and everyone slept comfortably. It's also not far from Michigan City Outlet Mall , which I went to. That was nice also. Finally, Elena was very helpful and available. I definitely enjoyed. Oh, one thing. Nature does get in from the outside. There were a few bugs in the house. However, it didn't take away from the place, and the experience. It was nice.

Beautiful, comfy and clean

This was the perfect house for our family to stay during the wedding of my son. Home is beautifully decorated, kitchen fully stocked with everything you need, beds super comfy and the grounds were wonderful. We did not have time or very warm weather to use the pool, but it was warm and looked inviting. We were able to use the volleyball court and had a great time. Highly recommend this home, if you have a large gathering of folks, as there is room for everyone. Enjoyed the evenings and listening to the tree frogs. Elene the owner was very easy to communicate with and available to answer any and all questions. The only reason I rated the neighborhood a 4 star instead of 5, was because Hwy 94 is pretty close to the neighborhood and at night you could hear the traffic. I would like to suggest a coffee carafe for the kitchen as having a lot of coffee drinkers in our group it would have been nice to have more than just the coffee pot.

AMAZAING FAMILY VACATION

If you are looking for a home in the Harbor Country area, this is the place. The surrounding grounds are amazing. From the trails that seem never ending to the oversized stoned fire pit, tree house, the swing and slide for the younger kids, volleyball fun for all and of course the everyday relaxation of having a pool. The inside of this home is right out of a magazine. The beds are far more luxurious than any hotel we have stayed. This home offered something for every member of this family. Our Grandfather spent most of his time in the Sunroom reading or napping. The younger men spent time preparing the grilled food that was constant. The kids ran the trails and swam the days away. The rest of us simply enjoyed it all. I can't say enough about this home besides it does not feel like a rental. It is extremely clean and has an extraodinary kitchen. O.K.....I think this gives you the impression that we love this house. Completely recommend this vacation home.

The host was very welcoming as was the house. The open layout of the kitchen, livingroom, and deck meant that people who were cooking were still part of the gathering and not isloated from the rest of our group. We may be back in the summer to see how that pool is!

Amorini House is beautiful! Elena was so helpful and communicative, providing lots of information before we checked in and some great recommendations for local places to check out. The house, activities available to us on the property and landscaping were all wonderful. Some of the things we enjoyed about the house:-it was only about a 4 minute drive from the beach and local businesses and restaurants-the deck and pool set up was so nice! we enjoyed eating on the deck and swimming in the pool and we also loved using the volleyball area and fire pit-there were lots of dishware options for mealsA few things that would have been helpful for our stay:-an extra fridge in the house. since the one in the kitchen was a side-by-side, it only held so much for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids for the week-the ice maker in the freezer wasn’t working but there were ice trays we were able to use-the pool was pretty chilly and the heater didn’t seem to make much of a difference-the house has lots of cute decor everywhere but it did make it challenging to find places to put our belongings for the weekOverall, we enjoyed our stay and would look to rent Amorini House if we’re ever in Union Pier in the future!

Fun for a group

We had a wonderful time. Elena was a perfect host. Answered questions quickly. The home was very clean,well equipped, comfortable. Lots of separate places for small groups and large spaces for all of us. Kitchen was large great stove and had everything we needed. Baths were updated. The back deck and large yard were enjoyed by all. All in all a great experience.

Great long weekend

We had a wonderful stay, Elena was an amazing host and it is clear how much she cares about her home and the comfort of her guests. We had good communication and everything we needed.
