Gorgeous property! Very cozy, well stocked house and stunning surroundings We really enjoyed a couple of evenings by the fire pit and the beautiful creek. Matt was a great host and sent info on things to do, places to see and eat. We would definitely come back!
This is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in! Everything was thoughtfully planned for our stay from 2 different coffee makers to extra batteries for remotes! The house was very inviting and holy books! Lots of books to enjoy and games to play. It is a hike to get to the property but well worth the peaceful sounds of the creek and escape from the crowds. The hosts definitely care about your visit and take the extra time to make sure your visit is memorable.
Storybook setting! We could hear the water flowing as soon as you open the car door. There is a constant breeze blowing from multiple waterfalls in the creek. Beautiful clean home with lovely mountain decor. Would recommend arriving before dark if possible due to long twisty gravel road but definitely worth the trip once you arrive at the cabin. There’s activities to do for all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay at the Hemlock Creek property. The cabin was great. Nice bedrooms and kitchen and the right size for our gathering. The only short coming was the drive on the narrow gravel and often confusing drive to the property.. Once we got there the property was great!
Our trip was wonderful! The cabin was just what we needed--relaxing, private, well stocked, clean and comfortable and was more spectacular than we imagined. The location was very convenient to everything we had planned. The drive to the cabin was on well kept gravel roads. Great communication with the owners, who were so responsive to any question we had. Our family appreciated all the recommendations on places we should put on our list to see and places to eat. The cabin had everything we needed--with good space for everyone. The outside deck was a hit and listening to the rushing water of the creek was incredible--a great place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The owners said the cabin was a special cabin and that was absolutely true. Our family highly recommends this cabin and we are very appreciative of the owners for allowing us to stay and enjoy it.
The house was well appointed and Matt always answered any question promptly. We had a great time! Loved the gas stove and the kitchen had everything you could possibly needspices, cast iron pans, plenty of dishes, glasses, tableware, storage containers-they had it all! The counter had two bar stools which we constantly used. Additionally, they had the most beautiful wood burning stove that we used at night and in the cool mornings. Buy wood from Bear at the entrance to the community. The deck out back is large and we enjoyed sitting out there listening to the creek and enjoying the autumn leaves. There is a very nice Weber gas grill on the back deck too. There are quite a few stairs down to the creek but it was a beautiful setting. It’s all lit up at night. We had the bedroom on the first floor. The king bed was comfy and it had an additional small room off of it you could use as an office or reading room. The bathroom was very nice. It had a tiled walk in shower, a beautiful natural wood cabinet with sink, hairdryer and separate Johnny. The house was immaculately clean!Upstairs was an additional king bedroom and bath with a bonus room with two additional beds. The homes architecture was beautiful. There was a covered area to park under. It probably is best to have an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive coming up the road to the house. Matt gave us great directions, but it is still challenging. Make sure to eat at J Arthur’s in Maggie valley. It’s pricey but worth it.
We were very please with the house! Clean and cozy! Perfect for a mountain get a way trip! Wasn't far from our favorite places. Would love to come again in the future!
The property and hosts are absolutely amazing! Exploring the stream and its little waterfalls was our favorite part. The cabin was very comfortable and clean with everything you could need.
We enjoyed the cabin very much. It was well stocked and the owner, Matt, was very helpful. The location was really nice with the creek. Would love to go back.
The creek & outside areas were great. The deck is spacious and the grill area was nice and has plenty of utensils. The living area was a bit small for all 7 of us to watch the football game together. Overall, it is a very nice cabin with lots of unique features.
We loved our stay & this property is everything stated. Provided excellent directions. The covered parking slab was awesome. Kitchen is well appointed too. Beautiful place
This home and property was a wonderful break for our Labor Day Weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer. My family loves Maggie Valley and would stay in this home again without hesitation.
