Getting Around:
Public transportation is accessible, though the nearest bus stop is a mile away, so a car is recommended. Winter weather can bring snow, and guests should be prepared. A 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle is strongly suggested for winter travel, as the driveway isn't plowed. Chains / traction tires or a vehicle suitable for winter conditions are often needed / required.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that the bedrooms feature accordion-style doors that do not lock. This rustic cabin, built in the early 70s, offers a simple mountain experience. While we maintain cleanliness with fresh linens, the wood stove may create dust, which could be an issue for allergy sufferers. Enjoy the large, fenced lot, complete with a hot tub. One dog is welcome; please be mindful of pet allergies. Be aware that spiders and other bugs are common in this natural setting. There is no TV, but a CD player and Wi-Fi are provided. Outdoor fires are permitted, but always check for and adhere to any burn bans in effect to avoid eviction and fines.
