We stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend and it was very lovely / relaxing.
Kitchen: I cooked a 12lb turkey and sides in the small but functional, decently stocked kitchen with no issues (brought extra pans, spices, and cooking utensils from home). The stove is small but I just turned the full size pan and had no problem.
Yard: LOVED the hot tub. Very wooded outback, lots of mushrooms, large trees, and ferns. Nice size yard with plenty of space to have a fire or bbq. Our dog had a nice time relaxing inside because she was unable to run around (hurt leg), anyway, others said the property is fully fenced but it was not to our knowledge. You can see neighbors properties on each side, one is a peekaboo view and the other is someone's front yard. We didn't have any issues with this but some may not find it as woodsy.
Extra: There is a main road in front of the cabin which is great for access but did leave us with a bit of noise in the mornings, which could have been due to a holiday weekend.
The only downer would be the shower, wish the sprayer / shower head was hung up for ease and a shower curtain so water doesn't spray onto the floor.
Wifi, heat, and the fireplace worked great.
Overall: Love the location, the cabin is cute as a button, communication was fast, would book again.
This is the third or fourth time we've stayed at this property with our dogs, and was, as usual, fantastic. We spent time soaking in the hot tub, cooking in the fire pit and grill, and hiking at a few nearby trails. The house itself is cozy and terrific, our dogs love exploring the fenced yard, and I feel totally relaxed and happy as soon as we step out of the car into the driveway. We will return many times.
I cannot speak highly enough of this little gem. I want to stay here every time we visit. My BF and I flew up from San Diego to visit my family and friends and decided to stay here for a night. They were so accommodating, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a feast and enough space to play cards, catch up and have a great time. The hot tub was clean and exactly what we needed after two days of snowboarding! Definitely plan on coming back.
Nice cabin...had everything we needed and full of interesting bits. Only downside was access...the keycode supplied did not work so had an anxious wait while we waited for owners to supply code.
The cabin was very cute, perfect for a couple nights in the woods. We really enjoyed the hot tub and property. Celeste was very responsive and a great host.
This cabin was exactly as advertised, and was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's wooded and off the main highway, so feels quite remote, but features great access to Mt. Hood and the surrounding area. We loved being in a space with no TV and enjoyed the range of puzzles and games at the cabin. The hot tub was a wonderful post-hike treat, and the provided bathrobes made the short walk to it cozy and warm. We will definitely recommend this rental to friends and look forward to staying again someday.
We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin and forest. We relaxed around the campfire, slept well in the cozy bedrooms, and ate well using the fully stocked kitchen. Thank you so much for sharing with little woodsy dream with us!

A great get-away
My son and I were visiting Portland from the UK and wanted a outdoorsy place for the weekend to hike and fish. We couldn’t have found a better place! Quiet at night, great outdoor space for a campfire and the hot tub was great at the end of a long day. Great that there was an endless supply of logs for the log burner and campfire.
Hope we get to return someday!

Cozy cabin in the woods!
We had such a lovely anniversary getaway at this beautiful cabin! Comfortable beds, gorgeous fireplace, and a well-appointed kitchen made this a perfect spot to feel right at home, and the secluded hot tub with the sound of the Sandy River in the background was a great way to relax away the city stress! We loved that the property was fully fenced-in, allowing us to not worry about our pooch meandering off. The artwork and details in the cabin really made it feel like a home away from home. Will definitely try to book it again next time we need a relaxing vacation in the woods!

Magical and cozy cabin perfect for our weekend getaway
My partner and I had a fantastic time here. The cabin gets super cozy with a crackling fire and home cooked meal. Beds are comfy. Cabin art and decor is great. We made much use of the hottub and there was lots of room in the yard for our pup to explore as we soaked. Also, the sandy river is just a short walk away. It's a very wonderful place to stay and we will definitely try to come back.

Amazing value for such a comfortable, cozy place
My wife and I have stayed here twice with our small dogs and loved it both times. The cabin has a cozy, warm feel. Books and board games are packed onto the shelves. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and cooking tools and though we were both frequently in it at the same time, we weren't stepping on each other's toes. The fireplace does a fantastic job of quickly heating the entire cabin.
The outside space is great, with a large fire-pit area and plenty of cut wood. The hot tub is well-maintained and ready to go. Neighbors aren't too far away, but the yard is so wooded, you barely know they're around. And it's fully fenced so dogs can explore without any risk of escape.
Plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby and you can simply run or bike to them on an asphalt road that's not very busy most of the time.
There's a corner store about five minutes away that stocks a large selection of beer, bug spray, snacks, and pretty much everything you might run out of or forget.
The only negative thing I can think of is the coffee maker. It consistently evaporated about 80% of the water we added and scorched the coffee. That's a small quibble, but do bring your own if you're a coffee drinker.
Woodsy Dream makes me feel relaxed as soon as I step out of the car. My wife and I love it and plan to return often.

Staying in this cabin is a unique experience and I recommend it to anyone that wants a break from a busy life. We spent the evenings listening to podcasts and doing puzzles, very relaxing.
