Newly renovated spacious 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Retreat features luxury linens, a great room with vaulted ceilings, a wood pellet fireplace, and new chef's kitchen with samsung appliances. Beautifully landscaped backyard and deck with hot tub, hammocks, BBQ and Fire Pits.
The space
The bedrooms feature: Master with king size bed, walk in closet and plenty of room; Queen bedroom with full size closet; Twin bedroom with pull out trundle. Chefs kitchen with all you need for the perfect meal. Heated Garage Gameroom with Ping Pong, Foosball, Darts and Chess. Roku Smart TV's in the Living room and Master. Hot Tub, Fire Pit, in the fully fenced backyard.

We allow 2 cars in the driveway. There are 2 parks in the neighborhood and access to Sandy River.
Other things to note
We ask that all guests be mindful of the cute, quite and family friendly neighborhood that Timberline Retreat resides. There is a sound ordinance that requires all noise be kept at a respectful level, and move all activities inside by 10PM.

Great get away

Quiet, with activities all around. Easy access for Portland area. Hot tub, BBQ, gas fireplace, and heater (not needed for our stay, but nice add) community pool, tennis courts. Trails to Sandy river easy walk from home! Very clean and well stocked.

Lovely family getaway in the mountains

The house was amazing for our family of five and the game room and hot tub were a huge hit. We had plenty of room for all of us, the kitchen is well stocked, and we loved the decor and small touches (including a great selection of games/puzzles). The host is incredibly responsive and gave us suggestions in advance for things to do. We only wished we stayed another night so that we could check out the pool. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Perfect family/dog friendly getaway

We loved staying here for a winter weekend of sledding, hiking and skiing. The house is very well laid out with a really great game room, family room, kitchen and dining room. The hot tub is a treat and the fully fenced backyard was great for our dog.

Lovely home walking distance to River

We had a lovely stay at this home and the owner was extremely responsive. Loved that we could walk to the river for a quick plunge to cool off. One tip for future renters - we had no cell phone service outside the house so we could not get in because we had not saved the key code prior to arrival. we had to drive 10 minutes away from the house to get enough service to get the key code. Write down the code to access the house before you head there in case you don’t have service on your phone!

Hiking Mount Hood

We stayed for 4 nights to hike. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and a short drive to the trails. The house has everything that you should need. We did not cook any meals but the kitchen seems to have everything you should need. We spent most of the time hiking or exploring the area. Although we did not use it there is a nice hot tub and a game room. Ramona Falls is a must hike. We also enjoyed Mirror Lake Loop, Tamanawas Falls Trail and Top Spur/Timberline Trail. For dinner Rondezvous Grill is good and Wraptitude has good wraps, local beers and live music. Stephanie is a great host who is always quick to answer any questions. We had a great time

Perfect Brightwood Location

The place was clean and well kept, with all the necessary amenities. Great place and great neighborhood. About 20 min from Government Camp, but close to all the shops and services in Zig Zag or Sandy.

Great neighborhood, great cabin, great access to everything in the area, Plenty of room. Just leave it leave it leave it leave it. Great kitchen, great backyard. Games are plentiful. Nice Hot tub.😁

Everything was great except for that there was no recycling and we were instructed to put all trash in the yard waste bin. I would not have stayed at this place if I had known that. It is terrible for the environment and is the reason I wouldn't stay here again.

Nothing short of magical

The cabin was the perfect home base for some snowy adventures at Meadows. The home was beautifully designed and well-appointed with everything we needed to cook, lounge, and play after hitting the slopes. Our pup was also a happy camper with the fully fenced in yard and great neighborhood for walks.

Mountain get away

The location was very convenient to a numerous hiking, swimming and visiting Mt Hood. It is a quiet neighborhood and has a community center which we were able to use the pickle ball court. The house itself is ideal for four to six people, we had just the four of us. the kitchen was well stock with appropriate cooking needs and a large dining room table. The game room was fun and the living room was also very comfortable. Their outdoor space is very nice as well.

Excellent quiet home for family or friends

Excellent comfy place that feels like home. Super comfy beds, quiet with no noise, great shared spaces with comfy sofa and chairs and an excellent kitchen. Fun game room and lots of games and puzzles. Outdoor area excellent (though needs a bit of a brush-off- spring cleaning), lots of seating, bbq, hot tub and propane fire table, all working! One weird thing was the lack of any shelf or dresser space in the bedrooms, so we just had to leave our suitcases on the floor (there are closet rods w hangers). Just putting a small shelf unit in each bedroom closet would help. There are bedside tables (yay! Overlooked in many places). We were a group coming from different directions and weirdly google GPS got all of us mixed up, so look before you head out so you have an idea. The host is an excellent communicator, super helpful and friendly.

Family Friendly

We had a wonderful time at this house. They let us check in early being that it was Thanskgiving Day, in which I really appreciate. We were told the house was READY. We got there about 11am. All the sheets were on the floor from the previous renters, we had to wash all the sheets from 3 beds. We also had to rewash most dishes. For a regular stay, the kitchen was ok. Very little dishes and glasses. They dart board would have been fun, however the darts are ruined and barely usable. The foosball table and ping pong table was a great addition as well as the hot tub. Overall, our stay was excellent and we had a good time. The cleaning fee is a bit much as it wasn't all that clean. I know we checked in early, but my expectation would have been to have clean sheets.

Fantastic Family Time

Our family stayed for 3 nights arriving after terrible flight delays super late at night. Was easy to get in, turn on the heaters and tuck in for the night. The beds were super comfortable and sheets are so soft! The bathrooms were perfect for a family of 5. Minus a few small things to attend to like a missing tv remote and a clogged drain which were easily resolved, Stephanie was super responsive. Our family really enjoyed the jacuzzi which was clean and hot and appreciated the extra towels for use after Jacuzzi. They also loved the game room where we had nightly tournaments with ping pong, foosball, darts (may need some new dart fins). Having the Roku tvs in living room and master bedroom was great! Plus we loved all the board games and puzzles especially Oregon Trail and Pandemic and played almost all of them including the magnetic chess board. I really loved the phonograph and all the old school LPs. My kids had never played one so it was very vintage cool for them. May want one more frying pan and a cutting board for kitchen otherwise it was well stocked with all the basic cooking needs including water boiler and toaster was nice. With some basic spices and cooking oil too. If we are back in Mt Hood area again we will for sure be staying here!

A fabulous location for our event

We got married here on the deck overlooking the Sandy River and were so enchanted by the beauty of the location. I cannot imagine a more magical place to exchange vows! And Kathy was amazing in bringing flowers and helping us check in. Most amazing stay!

Great Spring Break Getaway

Spent 3 nights here as a short getaway to go snowshoeing by day and play board games and watch movies by night. The kitchen was really well-stocked with equipment, the house was clean, updated and comfortable. We'll definitely stay again!

Great Little Cabin!

We were looking for a little getaway for a family of five. Somewhere we could snowboard during the day and have a comfortable to stay in the evening. 3 bedrooms and the kitchen was very spacious! Big kitchen table to play board games. Great walking neighborhood too! 10/10

Great place for family and friends reunion

We love this place! My family and some friends have made this into an annual trip up to the mountain. Snowshoeing and skiing nearby, a great hot tub and game room are good for all ages. The kitchen is very well stocked and the accommodations are quite comfortable. Highly recommend!
