Cyprus For A Perfect Holiday: Cyprus is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean, it is an island of beauty and a country of contrasts. Cool, pine-clad mountains are a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches. Tranquil, timeless villages are in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns. A good spot to view them is the Cyprus Handicraft Centre in Lefkosia, with retail shops in every town. Small items of the distinctive, traditional pottery make good gifts, and so does Cyprus copperware and filigree silver. Always popular is the beautiful 'Lefkaritika' or ' Lefkara Lace'. Folkweave, needle and crochet work, woodwork and basketwork are a few more of the things visitors like to take home with them, not to mention Cyprus brandy which can be bought by the demijohn, Commandaria and even Halloumi - the Cyprus cheese.

Golfing: Paphos is the new jewel in the crown for golfers seeking golf breaks in the warmth of the eastern Mediterranean. It offers golfers challenging world class championship courses, warm hospitality and almost year round sunshine. There are three 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Tsada Golf Club which is just 20 minutes from Paphos town, 550 meters above sea level to ensure cool breezes during the summer months. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 meters. The Secret Valley Golf Club is 18 kilometres east of Paphos lying within a scenic valley and offers panoramic views. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,120 meters. This was our second stay at Faros Court and we still love it. The perfect location for restaurants, the beach and the new walkway down to the harbour, easy shaded parking, comfy bed and sofas, excellent TV package (we didn't use it much but would be great in the Winter months) amazing terrace with stunning views of the sea and sunsets, gas barbecue so easy to cook your steaks and amazing friendly communication with Christine. Seriously, there's nothing not to like. We had the best time!

The apartment had everything you could possibly want including groceries. We were very impressed with the TV reception. One tiny comment - we were there in November and the bathroom could do with a little more light at night, but everything else was so good.

Great location and apartment

We found the apartment very spacious and in a great location. 15 to 20 minutes walk to all the good restaurants and a 5 minute walk from a shopping mall. The balcony is huge and probably the envy of all the neighbours. Fabulous view as well. I dealt with Christine and she was fabulous as we had to change the dates a few times due to covid. We highly recommend this place and are hoping to return.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this apartment. The huge balcony is a sun-trap with stunning views and an outdoor shower. The apartment itself is equipped to a very high standard with everything you could possibly want – Smart TV, iron & ironing board, new washing machine, large fridge, radio, large selection of books & board games, playing cards, etc. The apartment is conveniently situated with shops, bars & restaurant within a very short walking distance. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Well situated for all local amenities. Easy flat walking distances to eateries, mall, cinema and local shops. Close to things of historic interest.. Transport link good. Excellent coastal path to take you from Lighthouse to the Castle and Marina at Paphos. Apartment is well maintained / equipped. with everything you need to make holiday stress free. Nice little welcome touches such as tea, coffee milk for your arrival with an additional bottle of wine to welcome you. TV package is great with terrific choices. Personal car parking space provided. Would recommend this apartment.

Fantastic and well situated apartment

Spent a week at this brilliant apartment in Faros Court, Paphos. Professional approach to booking and staying at the accommodation and a big thank you to owner, Christine. Apartment as described on the website but the best surprise is the huge terrace which gets the sun all day. Walking out and there is a range of bars and restaurants close-by with no shortage of choice. There is also the Kings Avenue Shopping Mall less than 10 mins walk. The harbour area is a bit further but there are many taxis and buses if you do not fancy the walk. Will be booking again next time we are planning a trip to Paphos. A satisfied customer Thank you

Great venue and great host!

The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped - it really feels like home away and it has everything you may need - first aid kit, cooking utensils, sewing kits, smart TV, decent selection of books and DVDs... - everything is there. The king size bed was very comfortable. Special bonus is the huge terrace with sunbeds, grill and outdoor shower, where you can enjoy your breakfast or local wine during sunsets over the sea, or watching the stars. The apartment even has also a second small balcony with lighthouse view. The location is just perfect - perfectly quiet neighborhood, 2 minutes walk from the Lighthouse beach, 4 minutes walk from the closest bakery and bus stop, and 5 minutes walk from the Kings Avenue Mall with a great supermarket (good choice of local wines, fruits and vegetables). It was a real pleasure to communicate with Christine, our host, who was really very helpful and even provided a solution for our luggage on the final day of our holidays. We will definitely gladly stay in this apartment again :)

Lovely views with beautiful sunsets.

Just spent one week at this penthouse apartment, was easy to find. Instructions from Christine spot on! Ideal location for shops and restaurants, with only a short walk. Clean and tidy. Had everything you would need. The bed was really comfortable. The balcony is very large and although there are umbrellas (can still get burnt through them) we would have preferred a more permanent shaded area as the sun was on it most of the afternoon (but that's just personal choice) We sat out in the evening to watch the sunsets. You are not overlooked. Being a penthouse it is up two flights of stairs, which is ok for young knees but we would probably not return due to this. The note about opening the doors and windows to let the breeze through really works, we only needed the Aircon on in the bedroom. And the ceiling fans work really well too. Overall we had a lovely week here and can recommend this apartment.

We had a great stay. We loved the terrace and the view. A fair distance from Paphos harbour but there are plenty of lovely restaurants close by. We hired a car so it was great to have a parking space.

Great location and outside space definitely sells the apartment . I think more could be done with is space , maybe a rattan sofa set , to watch the sunset from . that said it does have a dining table and sun beds. Short walk to most shops , restaurants etc. I agree with an earlier review the apartment would benefit from some TLC, perhaps a picture or two , a mirror in second bedroom , 2 lamps in the mater bedroom and refresh the linen. The location again is perfect. The apartment has the things you need , just felt a bit unloved

Brilliant apartment

Very good apartment, with terrific views from the very large terrace. Location is excellent for bars and restaurants, and proximity to the beach. This was our second visit to the apartment and we weren’t disappointed. It has everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. On the negative side we found the stairs a bit challenging on arrival, when having to carry heavy luggage, and after a visit to the supermarket for shopping, another slight negative was some local dog noise (barking) we found quite annoying at times, although it’s not as if it was constant. We wouldn’t let either of these small negatives put us off renting this apartment again. William and Gerty

Stunning patio views

We had a slight issue with the apartment when we arrived. Once we contacted the owner we received a call from the local maintenance company who resolved all the issues promptly and were very professional. We had a great stay.

Set exactly where we knew it was great location for beach bars harbour etc2 bed property with great huge balcony & uninterrupted views.Aspects of the property could do with some TLC although it did have everything you need.Not so ideal if the weather is wet & dark.. but that I know is rare in Cyprus so took that into consideration.New duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels are a must for 2025 season .Overall a pleasant stay & in summer outdoor balcony space amazing.

Ideally placed holiday apartment.

I can understand why this apartment is very popular as it ideally placed for shops, walks to Paphos Harbour and has an idyllic outlook both at the front and rear of the apartment. It is very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather with some days being cold and wet and the excellent tv package was very much appreciated. I would love to return some day to the apartment but I know it will be difficult because of its popularity.
