Holiday apartment in a fantastic location in Paphos, 10 minutes walk to the old town, 600 yards from Tombs of the Kings and great bars and restaurants. 1km stroll to Venus Beach (door to sea 1000 paces)! Walkable to the harbour or a short car journey, yet tucked away in a quiet location!
Your price includes everything - air conditioning, wifi, tv, bedding, towels, cleaning. No extras, no hidden charges. Even 2 sets of golf clubs if you request these saving you up to £120 in luggage costs!
On a complex of just 10 units with communal swimming pool. Huge roof terrace with great views including the ocean, guaranteed sun all day round.
Perfect for two people, a couple with 1 or 2 children, two couples or 4 friends. One bedroom with fabulous new top quality king bed. It has an en suite bathroom with shower and bath and its own private balcony. Second bedroom with zip and link beds, so can be two singles or one king. Also has en suite bathroom with shower. Fully equipped kitchen. Balcony off the dining room / living room in addition to the roof terrace.
Own private entrance with lockable gate at the bottom of the steps. Spiral staircase to the roof terrace, which is fully equipped with patio furniture and loungers for sunbathing and great views.
Full air conditioning with separate controls in every room. Pressurised hot water system.
Bus service every 15 minutes to Coral Bay or the Harbour from stops just down on the main Tombs of the Kings road.
Absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation in the sunshine on the Mediterranean.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Othello gardens. The apartment is lovely and was spotlessly tidy. The pool was great and very peaceful. I can highly recommend it over a hotel any day.

Fabulous property, has everything you would have at home, plus a rooftop lounge and a swimming pool. Ideal location for access to old town, harbour, and Coral bay. Much better than a hotel.

Great stay in a lovely apartment

The property was spotlessly clean spacious and well equipped the roof terrace was great and we took full advantage of it. It is a bus ride to the harbour but the old town is an easy walk away. The owner Martin was very helpful and friendly both before our arrival and during our stay.

Refreshingly wonderful.

The appartment was exccdingly clean and comfortable, the added bonus was the weather, there was plenty of sunshine and the heat was bearable. The location itself, Cyprus is second to none. The people and the food were first class as expected.

Great apartment in a great location. Local to all amenities and areas of interest. Good size apartment with balconies and a great roof top terrace. Martin was a great host and even let us have a late check out as we had a late flight. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment is spotless, and has all you need for your stay, we stayed for 11 nights and could quite happily stayed for longer. The apartment is in a great location not far from the harbour, shops, restaurants and the kings mall all in walking distance. We hired a car for a few day but we enjoyed exploring on foot too, would definitely return to this apartment.

Like to thank Martin for his lovely apartment. Lovely quiet area, everything you require in the apartment it was like home from home only 5 to 10 minute stroll to restaurants and bars also 10 minute walk to the old town with its lovely restaurants. Highly recommend Martin apartment

Great location

This was our second time at this apartment, it was very clean and well equipped. This small complex is near to the Tomb of the Kings road with many different restaurants to cater for most tastes but far enough away that the noise didn’t disturb us. We reported a couple of broken things to Martin and hopefully his maintenance people can repair soon - we will certainly look at booking again next year.

Beautiful apartment

An excellent clean and modern apartment with fantastic appliances in the kitchen and a great TV system. The balconies are great with one for the sun and one to cool down on. It is a very quiet complex so it's great sleeping with the windows open with the fly screens on . We would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely use it again.

This apartment was so well situated for our needs,walking distance to Lidl-15mins. Restaurants so much choice -again all within walking distance. The roof terrace was our my reason for choosing this apartment and did not disappoint. Very quite complex with nice neighbours. Fly screens on all windows and doors means a cool breeze flowing all day and night. No safety worries. For people who like to do as they please, a must stay apartment.

Winter break

We found the apartment to be clean, spacious and comfortable for a 3/4 week stay in February. Located within a short walking distance to a Lidl supermarket, the shopping mall and plenty of restaurants. The weather during the first half of our stay was very cold and wet, but the apartment had sufficient heating and plenty of books and dvds to keep us amused. Once the sun came out the roof terrace was a plus with the lovely Venus beach a short walk away. Martin was easily reachable and provided plenty of information about the apartment and local area, thank you very much. We would definitely book again if planning a trip to the area.

Excellent position

Good quiet location between port and old town.2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds.Parking.Very quick replies to our questions to owner, and lots of info. from him.Near sea and Roman mosaics etc ( free entry if you are OAP.) Near to bus stops to take you all over Cyprus.Well equipped,apart from few teaspoons,clean and not far from Lidl and an excellent fish restaurant.If you are taking a taxi to and from airport Alfa Taxi Service, alfataxicy@gmail.com is very good and cheaper than picking one up as you arrive.

A great property with fab roof terrace and host!

We spent 2 weeks here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a well equipped first floor apartment with a fantastic roof terrace, that gets the sun all day. We were close to shops/bars/restaurants on the Tomb of the Kings road, we also had the option of the old town (10 mins walk) or the marina (30 min walk or €10-12 taxi ride). The pool was great for cooling off on the warmer days, but we preferred the roof terrace mainly. Martin (the owner) was on holiday in his other apartment next door, while we were there. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us loads of great advice about local restaurants, beaches & wines etc. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting this area. Thanks for your hospitality Martin, hopefully see you again soon!! 🌞🌞

Lovely apartment

Overall very nice. A few suggestions:- We arrived in the early hours of the morning & it would have been a lovely touch to have a bottle of water available in the fridge. One of the sun loungers on the roof terrace is completely unusable & needs to be replaced as soon as possible. The photos on the web pages of the furniture on the roof terrace are outdated & do not reflect current items. The spiral staircase is a little tricky to negotiate & needs a degree of balance & dexterity to get up & down as it is very tight & steep.

Pleasant stay

Pluses. Quiet location, only 500m walk to sea, roof terrace (steep steers), close to Lidl (especially we liked fresh fish, to cook in oven), close to town (nice evening walk up to Agora Tavern to have meze). It was chilly during evenings, so radiators and heaters were helpful as the water pipe (pressure was good). Some small notes. It would be nice to have at least one pan what is not totally scratched or warped. It was the first time in our renting history that next day we had to go shopping for toilet paper, garbage bags, kitchen paper, soap (one soap between 3 sinks), dish washing liquid, washing detergent. If you stay for 1-2 weeks, it doesn't make any sense, because we had to buy big bottles or quantities, but we used a small amount of such stuff. Anyway, I hope at least next guests can use what we left.

Why they chose this property

Paphos is a delightful holiday location. Wonderful climate with guaranteed sun.
I've been visiting for many years and, whilst I have been all round the island, Paphos is by far my favourite part.
Brits will love the area as everyone speaks english, they use the same electric plugs as us and even drive on the same side of the road!
I have always preferred the Tombs of the Kings area and this is particularly where I wanted to buy an appartment. Whilst it is walking distance from the harbour and the livelier tourist area, it is sufficiently removed from it to be quiet. There are numerous bars and restaurants a few hundred yards from the property so you don't have to go down to the tourist area to eat either.
Incredibly, the old town is also only a 10 to 15 minute walk in the other direction! I love to go up there for coffee in the mornings and look down over the sea below. There are many more restaurants here again and a lively market for fresh fruit, vegetables, olive oil and wine! The old town itself is a delightful labyrinth of narrow streets and small shops and tremendous fun to explore.
We wanted 2 bathrooms to go with the bedrooms as it is just more comfortable for everyone. This is actually quite rare amongst holiday appartments in paphos. We have installed a pressurised water system as well, so you get good shower pressure in both! As well as the obvious solar heating we have an immersion heater which helps if out in the winter and it is one of those very rare cloudy days.
Naturally the appartment has air conditioning with separate controls in each of the bedrooms and the living room.

What makes this property unique

The complex is just 10 properties sharing a nice sized communal pool with loungers. There are only 2 storeys and we are on the first (top) floor with our roof terrace, rather than someone else's appartment, above us.
The roof terrace is the full size of the appartment itself and kitted out with lovely furniture. It is accessed by an extra wide spiral staircase we had installed from right outside the front door, which is at the top of it's own private set of steps. There are great views from up here including the sea and of course due to the size of the terrace you can be in the sun wherever it is in the sky.
Internet is included free of charge.
There are books and dvds in the appartment, please help yourself and feel free to add to our collection.
As mentioned above there is a pushbike available and 2 sets of golf clubs so you don't need to travel with these either.
