Historic charm without the crazy price. Only one block from downtown Wilmington, NC. Walk the river front and visit the many privately owned shops and restaurants of every imaginable kind. Visit museums or numerous historic sites dating back before the revolutionary war. You can also ride the various trolleys or horse drawn carriages. Maybe the famous ghost tour is more to your liking. Several beaches within 15 to 30 minutes. The downtown area is very supportive of our four legged friends. There is a little bit of everything for everyone. You can even do nothing at all and enjoy porch living at it's finest right at home.

We had a great time in this beautiful home! The historical character made us feel like we were living in the 1900's. A great way to spend the weekend for a girl's trip! We especially loved how close it was to downtown and just a short drive to the beach. We will be back!
Everything we experienced was fantastic!! comfortable beds, house is well stocked, excellent location - walked everywhere. Loved the rear garden, and front porch when it rained. Brain is awesome - very quick to respond and nice person! We absolutely loved the historic home - charming and plenty of space. We are planning to come back next fall!!
My family of 5 stayed for a weekend wedding in the area. The house was clean and spacious. Although we did not have time to use it, the backyard was large and lovely. Brian was helpful, answering all questions from booking until check-out.
Historic home with a lot of character. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms very convenient for larger parties. Great fenced patio in back for relaxing with family or friends. A short walk to the River Walk and lots of bars, restaurants and shops.
5 of us stayed for 3 nights primarily to go site seeing, fishing, etc. located right in the heart of the historic section, easy access to everything we were interested in.
We had a great time staying at this home, which was in a safe neighborhood and convenient to the Historic District. We would definitely stay here again.
This place was perfect for our group of 3 adult couples, and my adult daughter. We were in town one for a nearby wedding. The home was perfectly located, and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our stay. It was an easy walk to the riverfront area. We enjoyed both the porch and the back courtyard area ! Brian is a wonderful host, just the right amount of checking in...Would definitely come back here when in the Wilmington area !
My husband and adult children were in Wilmington for wedding. Prefect location and wonderful accommodations. Owner was very gracious. House had 4 full bathrooms which was great since we had 4 couples with us
As always, Brian is more than accommodating and we have been coming here for a few years now and it’s one of our favorite places to visit. He has everything you need and more. You can’t go wrong staying here. Will be back again!
Loved the historic feel of this 1910 home. Highly recommend. By far the most well stocked property we've ever stayed. You will not run out of towels! Comfy beds. Everything you need to cook. Our family of 5 stayed here for our son's wedding. The groomsmen had plenty of room to get ready for the wedding. Walking distance to riverfront. We spent many hours on the large front porch. More outdoor seating in back of house with a firepit. Plenty of beds (6) . We'll definitely book this property again!
Place was very comfortable for our group and close walking distance to downtown the River walk

I love to be social. There is never a stranger I won't talk to. I love old houses and old communities like I grew up in. I love the simple pleasures, such as, the water and parks.
Why they chose this property
The property has all the great architecture and beauty of the houses of yesteryear. The whole community is just as nice with trolley and carriage rides right in front of the house. The historic downtown with a view of the river is breathtaking with a view of the sunset. Downtown has a lot of options for those vegetarians and vegans and very hospitable to our four legged friends.
