About the host
Hosted by Gary Dougan
I bought Anneth Lowen 25 years ago to turn it into a first-class home-from-home holiday experience. Over the years, I've developed the property, hosting hundreds of happy guests, ranging from single holidaymakers to family groups.
As guardian of Millie, our Rough Collie companion, I know how important it is to include canine members in holiday planning so they can enjoy a break in safety and comfort, too.

Why they chose this property
Like many who discover North Cornwall for the first time, we spent many family holidays here, returning again and again.
There's so much to explore, from the dramatic coastline, clifftop walks, sandy beaches and moreland, attractions and activities to suit all tastes.
Just a three miles distant from Boscastle and Crackington Haven, there's a wealth of breathtaking coastline to explore and good food to be found along the way.

What makes this property unique
Anneth Lowen is situated in a quiet hamlet just 3 miles from Boscastle Harbour. Within easy reach of the A39 (Atlantic Highway) it's so convenient for exploring further afield.
Drive in off the village road and you're in a peaceful, private environment with ample, easy parking.
Recently refurbished throughout to top spec standards, the accomodation hub is a bright, cheery open-plan kitchen / living area looking onto the large, secure rear garden and fields beyond.
There's plenty of room for children and dogs to run around. A private, sunny, furnished patio rounds off the garden nicely.
The kitchen is fully-equipped and complimented with quality appliances, while the living area is a cosy spot to watch TV, play music or just relax.
Guests love the comfortable beds and ample bedroom storage space.
The master bedroom offers a modern en-suite with shower/WC while the family bathroom provides a generous walk-in high-pressure digital shower and Bluetooth audio system.
The Horseshoe Inn, which serves home-cooked meals and takeaways, is just a gentle stroll along the village road.
My small team of helpers and I work hard to ensure Anneth Lowen is maintained to the highest standards so you can enjoy a carefree stay. I am contactable direct to answer any questions and deal with any issues.
