About this property
Finest Retreats - Lanteglos Villa
Lanteglos Villa is set within 15 acres of beautiful meadows on the Lanteglos Hotel estate, offering a peaceful retreat ideal for anyone looking to unwind and relax. This charming end-terrace property enjoys a quiet location and is surrounded by a range of on-site facilities, tennis and badminton courts, a snooker table, and a large outdoor swimming pool with a separate paddling area for children (open from June to September 1st). There’s also a soft play area for children under 5, which guests are welcome to use.
The villa is all on one level and comfortably sleeps four, with one double and one bunk bed that has a double bed on the bottom bunk, along with a family bathroom - featuring a shower over bath and a heated towel rail. The open-plan layout features a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy lounge area, and a dining space, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay. The living room boasts a freeview Smart TV and a DVD player.
Nearby, the historic town of Camelford is often linked to the legends of King Arthur, with some believing his court was based here. At the nearby village of Slaughterbridge, you’ll even find what is said to be Arthur’s tomb. The town also offers a variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants — and be sure to pick up some fresh bread and cakes from the local bakery.
Just a 5-minute drive from Bowood Golf Course, this is an excellent choice for golf enthusiasts. Camelford Leisure Centre, located only a mile away, offers activities such as canoeing and splash time with inflatables — perfect for active families.
Ideally located, the villa is just a short drive from the surfing beaches along the North Cornwall coast, as well as the wild landscapes of Bodmin Moor and the hidden gem of Bossiney Cove. Day trips to Padstow are a must, where you can explore the vibrant quayside, browse gift shops and galleries, and enjoy a bite of Rick Stein’s famous fish and chips. Fans of the TV series Doc Martin will love visiting nearby Port Isaac — don’t forget to snap a photo outside the Doc’s house before enjoying lunch by the picturesque harbour.
Whether you're travelling as a family, couple, or with friends, this delightful retreat offers the perfect base to enjoy Cornwall’s coast and countryside.
Please note that the washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a shared launderette operated by a coin metre only.
There is parking for 2 vehicles located just 15 yards away from the property.
Please note when booking:
The outdoor pool is open between June– September.
