Welcome to The Lighthouse Cottage we are sure you will enjoy your stay in this newly built home. Equipped with three bedrooms- 2 double bedrooms (one ensuite), and one family bedroom with 1 double bed and a triple bunk bed. Lighthouse Cottage sleeps a max of 9 people 6 adults and 3 children. Situated on the quiet side of Cranfield Beach 50 m away from the sea but still just 5 minutes walk to the caravan sites, shops, cafe and takeaways. It is a short drive to Kilkeel, 20 minutes to Warrenpoint or 30 minutes to Newcastle.
Located just 1hr from Dublin and Belfast, there are plenty of attractions nearby for all ages and the cottage is the perfect location to explore the Mourne mountains, enjoy local walking and cycling trails, play a round of golf or just spend the day at the beach, enjoying watersports, rockpooling, sea swimming and lazing on the sand. Why not finish your day with a glass of wine and a meal in the sun? Or try one of the great cafes and restaurants nearby.
The accommodation is suitable for couples, groups, families, or groups of friends looking for a beach location minutes away from all the area has to offer. The accommodation has a step free entrance and is all on the one level, allowing easy access for those less able. We also have a small paddock beside the house which would be suitable for grazing horses and whilst we do accept 2 small dogs or one large dog some simple rules apply.
