About this property
Beatrice Cottage - 2 mins to Sea, Rustic Bolthole
2 mins walk from the beach
Max occupancy: 2 adults + 2 children (under 12 years old)
Welcome to Beatrice Cottage! We fell in love with this area 10 yrs ago captivated by the windswept beach and the quaint village pub, which brought back memories of my husband's childhood along the Australian Coast. Three yrs ago, we discovered Beatrice Cottage—a charming, 200-year-old former fisherman’s cottage. We’ve lovingly restored it, preserving its original charm to ensure a cosy and unforgettable stay for our guests.
Charming Interior: The cottage features a rustic design, with antique coastal décor that evokes the charm of fishing and the seaside. It is filled with an eclectic mix of vintage finds and treasures from forages along the beach. The upstairs area has a dreamy beach vibe, offering a peaceful space to curl up with a good book.
Upstairs: There are two bedrooms ideal for a couple, or a young family of four. The master bedroom has a luxury king size bed, and the adjoining bedroom has rustic wooden children bunkbeds. Each bedroom has white washed original floorboards and has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Please note, access to the children’s bedroom is through the main bedroom.
Downstairs: The downstairs has a cosy living room with natural seagrass flooring, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with an electric cooker with hob, dishwasher and fridge. Electric heaters are placed throughout the property.
Outdoor Living: A private patio is situated to the front of the house where you can unwind with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Parking: Off road parking is available for one vehicle. Beatrice cottage shares a driveway with the neighbouring property, however the access gates can be shut to ensure a fully enclosed area.
Amenities: - High-speed Wi-Fi (free)
- TV with streaming services (no aerial/ satellite)
- Welcome basket
- Fresh linens and towels
- Free parking on premises
- Board Games
Location: Winterton-on Sea is a true hidden gem located along the Norfolk Coast with a stunning, undeveloped windswept beach and extensive sand dunes. Beatrice cottage is located in heart of the village; within a 2 minutes’ walk from the beach and local pub. Opposite the cottage is a charming tea-room, and a fish & chip shop. The Norfolk Boards are only a 10 minutes’ drive away.
Other things to note
-Beatrice Cottage has Norfolk winder stairs which are original features but are steep
-Strictly no pets allowed
-Property maximum occupancy: 2 adults + 2 children (under age 12)
-TV with streaming services (no aerial/satellite)
