A comfortable ground floor flat with private parking right in the centre of Bowness.
A comfortable ground floor flat with private parking right in the centre of Bowness. A great find for a relaxed holiday in the heart of the Lakes. A Victorian gem.
Property is a little dated but otherwise great. Very spacious, well equipped kitchen, great shower with plenty of hot water and in the best location. 2 minute walk to the shops, 5 to the lake. Parking is tight but sufficient, but you don’t really need to use your car from this property. 2 minute walk to the bus stop to all the walks and towns nearby. Enjoyed the stay would definitely use this property again.

Really well located flat - only a short walk to the lake and surrounded by nice pubs and restaurants
Really well located flat - only a short walk to the lake and surrounded by nice pubs and restaurants. The flat was very clean and tidy but not as well stocked as one would like (no salt, pepper or paper towels). Beds were extremely comfortable. Do bring some warm clothes as the flat is very cold in the winter, despite the central heating being on! The instructions to park are unclear, and there was no pack as advertised. However, this was a really nice, clean and comfortable base for exploring the Lake District. Loved it.
