Loved our stay. The cabin was clean and we'll furnished. It was nice to step outside and hear the sounds of nature. Very relaxing. The host was very polite and responded very quickly. We were able to bring our new puppy along with us. Which was great! Will definitely book again in the future.
The host was very accommodating and the retreat was as described. We had a wonderful time at the historic cottage. The property is amazing and very relaxing and peaceful. The walk down to the creek through the woods was a well maintained trail and was well worth the short walk. If you like peace and quite and relaxing with history and nature this is a must stay..We were a party of four and everyone was super pleased with our stay. Its a short drive to almost anywhere you woud like to visit in the surrounding area. Props to the host for keeping such a lovely well mainted retreat to share with others. This was a rustic, quaint cottage set in farmland. It is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to Clemson easily. The hosts are personable and very helpful. A great place to stay when you are looking for a relaxing and affordable retreat.
We were looking for a quiet place for relaxation, this place was amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the small surrounding towns were filled with friendly people. Our stay was amazing. The waterfalls are breath taking beautiful.
This is my second stay here. Property is well cared for and clean. Beds are comfy. Beautiful scenery. Kitchen well equipped. I would definitely stay here again.
Our experience about this cottage was perfect. From renting to leaving, to quietness to location. From the cows to the beautiful huge white dog who visited us several times. From the beautiful quaint antique shops to the gorgeous mountains. Im telling everyone i know about the perfect cottage. Thank you hosts for sharing with us.
The owners have kept this home true to it's heritage. The home is decorated with beautiful antique pieces. The property is beautiful with green pastures and one big sweet dog named Blue. I will be back.

Thanks for staying with us and we would love to have you return anytime.
A Hidden Gem in Nature – Perfect for Work and Relaxation! This property was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something special. It had everything we needed to unwind and stay productive while working remotely. The peaceful setting in the woods, combined with the charming view of cows grazing in the pasture, created a serene atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The home was well-equipped, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and focus. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch or logging into meetings with nature as our backdrop, every moment felt like a breath of fresh air. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to all our friends and family—it’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Huge thanks to the hosts for making this such a memorable stay!
We took friends for their first Clemson Game. We all enjoyed the Cabin for the Weekend. Everything was as expected. The ride in for a Noon kick off was easy. Did not encounter stopped traffic until a mile from parking for the stadium. Definitely would book again over a hotel room in Clemson or Seneca.
Starting with the late night visit from blue one of the two family dogs and going into the next morning at breakfast on the porch with a visit from a vixen, her pup and the male fox, the first night and morning could not have possibly been any better. We stayed for a total of two nights. The first morning was met with rain and made coffee on the front porch, even that much better. With the bright sunrise, turning into rain and back into sunshine, we enjoyed the cattle in the field the fox in the grass And the Company of the dogs more than you can imagine. The house itself is an amazing escape with all of the amenities needed for a getaway. There are many activities within reasonable driving distance in various directions. I would very highly recommend staying with this wonderful family in one of their cabins.
As the owners of a historic bed and breakfast, we typically like to stay in unique accommodations when we travel. We were able to sneak away for a short weekend in early September and attend a Clemson home football game for the first time in years. We were looking for lodging in the Westminster area so we could visit friends who also have a place there. There were not any B&Bs in the immediate area, but we came across this historic farm cottage on VRBO. The location was perfect - only five minutes from our friends and a half hour from Clemson. The cottage is located on a family farm setting that is so quiet and peaceful. We had coffee on the front porch each morning taking in the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional moo of a cow. The rustic exterior of the cabin is somewhat deceiving as the interior has been nicely updated and furnished. There were only two of us staying, but the cottage could easily accommodate up to six people, as long as sharing one bathroom is okay. Check-in was simple. Durema, one of the owners, met us at the main house and shared some of the history of the farm and the family home. We could relate to the many challenges of keeping up a wooden structure from the 1800s as our houses were built in 1835 and 1879. While there are no restaurants close by, the cottage is just a short drive to the towns of Westminster, Seneca, Walhalla and Clemson. If we come back to the area and need lodging, we would definitely consider staying at the cottage again.
We loved staying at this historic farm and would not hesitate to book again. There is a lot to do in the area and you could easily stay for a week and not run out of things to do within short driving distances. Super comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to have nice fall weather and scenery.
We enjoyed our stay! Went to Clemson for the homecoming game. Loved the setting of this little cottage. Nice respite away from the crowds. Enjoyed grilling, fire pit, their dog Blue and the cows!!! Attentiveness by owners was top notch. We will be back!! 💗
Perfect distance from Clemson. House and property are very beautiful and peaceful. We loved waking up to the mist over the meadows and the cows grazing in the fields.
The cabin was clean, quaint and secluded. Set on a beautiful farm with walking trails and a large creek. We loved being able to bring our dog and unwind.
The cabin is excellent. Beds are so comfortable. It is located within a old farm setting that we thoroughly enjoyed. Beware: No cell reception for Verison users but no problem.
Loved the stay. Perfect for catching a clemson basketball game and enjoying a rare upstate snow weekend.
There is little to no phone service (for verizon customers at least) which is understandable based on the rural location and not something the owners can control.
The issue was with wifi, which the cabin is listed as having, but really doesn't, at least during our stay. The modem/network in the cabin was not connected to the internet, and the signal on what i guess to be the wifi from their nearby home didn't produce enough of a signal to use in the cabin itself, but rather, worked sometimes on the front porch.
Cabin is a wonderful spot, had a great time, would have been perfect with workable wifi.
Lovely historic property on beautiful farm. It was a great place to walk, relax, unplug. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Loved being able to bring our dog along. Thanks so much!
My husband and I, with our 7 month old son and dog Doc stayed here during our travels. Our first vacation as a family with our new baby. It was such a peaceful stay and beautiful farm. The history of this place is rich, which we enjoyed. A charming place to recharge and enjoy some quiet. Friendly small towns close by with very good folks. Our hosts were very accommodating during our stay, as we experienced an emergency situation with our dog. They were a big help.
Note to anyone afraid of big dogs, Blue the farms Great Pyrenees will come say hello! He’s such a sweet boy! We loved him and loved our stay!
Would recommend to all. Thanks so much!
