While my family was very excited to stay here, it simply was not as advertised. The yard looked like it hadn’t been cut in weeks, there were mouse traps (with droppings) in the kitchen, the home was nowhere near clean, the screen door was ripped to shreds, there were broken electrical outlets and holes in the floor covered with boards, the hot water wouldn’t even last long enough to fill the bath tub among, the home was VERY musty smelling and covered in dust, the outside trash bins were PACKED with trash, and many other things. The lockbox code was not released until 5PM when I requested it from the host when check in was scheduled at 4PM.

The cabin was nice. The location was more residential than cabin area feel. The cabin wasn't true to the pictures but it had a good vibe. It was clean, cozy, the host was kind and patient. If you're just looking for a great family oriented stay, this is a great place to book. If you looking for things to do outside of the cabin, I'm not sure what's avaliable.

Cute cabin with a huge backyard, and it’s very close to Star Park, which was amazing and super convenient.That said, I do wish the cleanliness had been better. The upstairs room had a strong storage-like smell, and the main bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned there was a small bar of soap left behind, and there was a noticeable moldy odor that seemed to get worse after showering. The bed cover in the main room also had visible stains.The kitchen also needed more attention. The freezer was dirty with stains, and I had to clean one of the fridge shelves myself because it wasn’t in good condition.Overall, we still had a good time and focused on enjoying the positives, but improved cleaning would make a big difference for future stays.

When concerns were raised during your stay, we responded immediately by sending our property manager to inspect the home and address anything needed in real time. Outside of a missed spill in the freezer—which we acknowledge and have since corrected—the home was found to be in clean and ready condition. We also provided a refund during your stay as a gesture of good faith while we worked to ensure everything met expectations. That said, we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, and we’ve reinforced our cleaning checks to prevent any oversights going forward. Maintaining a consistently high standard for our guests is extremely important to us.
