About this property

Home away from Home. Pet friendly.

Come relax in a comfortable home in a small GA town that still believes in quaint stores, friendly service & good food. Dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee. (details below).
Toccoa hosts free country/jazz/rock bands downtown every Saturday night during certain summer months. Winter may drop a couple inches of snow and summer brings plenty of sunshine. We are 30 miles from Helen which is a stunning German themed town. Keep driving and you will be deep in the mountains within minutes. Toccoa falls is 5 mins away, Tallulah gorge 17 miles and within 30 miles in almost any direction, you are in the mountains. Bikers are welcome to bring their bikes and enjoy the curvy mountain rides!
There is a burn barrel should you want a relaxing evening fire with outdoor furniture and folding chairs available in the shed for your use. There is a gas BBQ grill in the shed. (If you prefer a charcoal fire, there is a small charcoal grill on the front porch).
There are Roku TV's in every room with regular TV service (make sure to take your sign in information if you subscribe to any specific platforms such as Netflix or Prime). There is video surveillance on the property which you can utilize to keep an eye on your dogs while away by contacting the host for access. There is free Wi-Fi available that is able to handle any devices you wish to bring.
There is a double carport for covered parking. Parking for a camper or trailer is also available.
There is a $50 pet fee per dog which can be added by clicking edit the number of guests once you are on the booking page. NO dogs on the beds or furniture please!! If you have more than one dog, the fee is $50 per dog payable directly to the owner. (There is a large dog crate available) Please contact owner for details and approval if you have multiple dogs.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Plug any security systems that were unplugged back in after your stay.
Please put all trash in large trashbin by the carport and push it forward to the edge of the road for pickup.
Return all yard furniture to where you found it please.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1) Small/med dog allowed only if TOTALLY house trained, does not shed or chew furniture. 2) No cats. 3) No feminine products in toilets. (Septic)
I will provide the goods for breakfast however you will have to make it or serve it yourselves. Coffee available at all times.
The home is stocked with almost anything you would need. Use but if you finish something, please replace it or let me know it has been used up.

Me and a few buddies were in the area for a powerlifting meet. House location is so ideal, not too far from town, but off on its own for quiet nights. Host was very communicative and very friendly, was very kind to leave the fridge and pantry stocked with some things we might have needed.

The place was clean and looked just like the pictures. Hardy was very friendly and available. Yard was nice. I love the white picket fence. It was both cute and practical. We were gone during the day time (my daughter got married a short distance away) but I would have loved to enjoy that yard at night by the fire pit. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location

I enjoy motorcycle riding in and around the Toccoa area. There are many curvy and mountainous roads to choose from providing beautiful vistas and scenery. I enjoy life and try to live everyday to the fullest sharing adventures or ideas with other like minded people. Feel free to reach out if you would like some suggestions on points of interest, rides, restaurants or scenic routes.
After staying at my place I think you would agree that I go over and above any other place or VRBO you have ever stayed at before.

House is located on a very quiet, dead end road, 5 minutes from town, 2 minutes from a beautiful park, 4 minutes from spectacular Toccoa Falls, 30 minutes from Tallulah Gorge and hiking trails all around. 45 minutes to stunning Helen (German town) 40 minutes in almost any direction and you are in the Smokey mountains. Great location for any motorcycle enthusiasts. Many hiking or biking trails in the area.
