PARKING:

Parking in this part of Buxton is mostly on-street, but here are the best options:

Directly outside the house – Restricted during the day but available from 6pm to 8am. You’re always welcome to stop here briefly to unload luggage.

Dale Side (just on the corner) – The most popular choice with guests. Please note it’s a narrow lane, so larger cars may find nearby side roads easier.

Nearby side roads – Market Street, New Market Street, and Grange Road are all close by, unrestricted, and usually have spaces.

Council car park – Located at the top of Market Street, just a short walk away, and ideal if you’d prefer a guaranteed spot.

Most guests find Dale Side or the side roads easiest, with the council car park as a reliable backup.

PET RESTRICTIONS:

Pets are allowed to stay for a standard fee of £25 per pet. A maximum of 2 pets can stay at once. Please note animals are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.

ADDITIONAL CLEANING POLICY:

To ensure we maintain the property's high standards and maximise guest experience, we require weekly cleaning and linen changeovers for long-term bookings (10+ nights stay) at an additional cost. James and Beth were great hosts, fantastic communication throughout always ready to help. The property was everything we wanted for our family get together. Buxton is a lovely town with really friendly people all were good company and ready to chat.Parking for 3 cars was a tad awkward but we managed.Dale Road is busy, lorries the empty ones start early and the front rooms are disturb by dodgy manhole covers bouncing, obviously not our hosts fault. The bedrooms and showers are great house is warm and you have heating control although front lounge was a tad cool.10/10 though and Buxton is well worth a visit

Property was clean and in the heart of Buxton.Whilst it sleeps 9 it doesn’t have capacity in living room, Kitchen or garden for that many people it’s more suited for a party of 6.Garden is small and visible by neighbours so offers no privacy. The hot tub is a decent size but it is visible by all. We had paid extra for it but never used it for this reason. The furniture downstairs could do with a general upgrade and instructions on how to use the coffee machine would have been useful. Issues with the front door reported to the owners. Bedrooms were good sized clean and fresh. Bathroom and shower room was also good sized and well presented.Communication was good.
