Countryside cottage between Macclesfield and Alderley Edge

Whirley Hall Cottage is set in a beautiful, convenient part of the Cheshire countryside between Macclesfield and Alderley Edge. Surrounded on all sides by fields and ancient woodland, it is a welcoming, peaceful and comfortable space to relax or work, with walks from the door.
We encourage longer term lets and offer substantial discounts to accommodate longer stays, an ideal home away from home. Dog friendly, with field and woodland walks from the door.
Macclesfield and Alderley Edge train stations are a ten minute drive away. There is a bus stop less than a 10min walk away.
We have had 100% 5* reviews over the past two years on another booking site.
“Just to say how much we loved Whirley Cottage. Everything about the place was absolutely perfect. Could not fault it in anyway, we had everything we needed there.” (1 month booking Sept ‘24).

The Space:
Through the main entrance you will enter the cloakroom which leads into the open plan kitchen, dining and living areas. There is also a downstairs toilet/laundry room and a pantry. From the kitchen, french doors open out onto the patio and garden area.
Upstairs there is a newly fitted bathroom with a bath and shower, basin, toilet and towel rail. Bedroom 1 and 2 both have comfortable double beds and bedroom 3 is a smaller room with a single bed and pull-out bed underneath. All of the bedrooms are bright, with countryside views from every window.
The gardens surround the semi-detached cottage on all three sides. There is private parking with space for 3 cars, Freeview TV, excellent WiFi, central heating and a washing machine.

Your hosts live next door and we are available to help whenever you may need us. We will give directions for walks and point you towards our wonderful local tea room!

For stays longer than a week, additional housekeeping can be arranged for an additional charge.
