FAMILY FRIENDLY PRIVATE HOME. BEST VIEW ON THE RESORT.

Single family 7 bedroom home on Hidden Valley PA Resort property. Sleeps 17 easily. Short ride or walk to Slopes, Golf, Tennis, Basketball court and the resort pool. The pool is the resort community pool. It is a large pool with a baby pool and large seating/lounging area and lifeguards on duty. (No homes on the resort have private pools)
The Home is air conditioned and has an open floor plan with large kitchen and dining area set up nicely for large groups. The 7 bedrooms include: 1 King in Master Suite, 3 queens (one has a crib) , 2 double beds, 7th bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on top. There are also 2 double inflatable air mattresses. There are two family rooms each with log burning fireplace. Game room with Pool table, darts and treadmill. TV in every bedroom, both family rooms and pool room. Very large deck off of Dining room with table and lounge chairs. Large deck off of Master suite. Washer & dryer in Laundry room. 2 car integral garage. Wifi. Linens included.
Local attractions include: Downhill and Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Tubing are available at Hidden Valley Resort as well as at Seven Springs Resort, which is a 15 minute drive. Seven Springs also has zip lining in the spring, summer and fall months. Ohio Pyle for white water rafting, biking, hiking, and shops, Koosier and Laurel State Parks for hiking, swimming and fishing, Laurel Caverns for cave tours, Caddy Shack for mini golf, batting cages, go carts, etc..., Living Treasures is a small zoo, Horseback riding at Seven Springs or in Somerset, a few wineries and several excellent restaurants are close by. You could take a tour of Falling Water and Kentuck Knob, both designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Laurel Mountains is a great place for a fall leaf viewing ride or hike.
The resort has an 18 hole golf course with beautiful mountain views. There are 3 other golf courses within a 15 minute drive from the home.
NOTE for more than one night stays only: if you require fewer than 4 bedrooms we may adjust the rent to accommodate the amount of bedrooms needed for the people in your group and lock off the unused bedrooms.

Lovely home. Great location with an even better view. Had some initial trouble getting the lockbox open upon arriving and when it came time to leave, but Bill was quick to respond and fix the issue.

The property was great for 12 people all at once and when 5 left another 2 joined. Master suite is great but there are almost no closets in any of the rooms. I like to hang good clothes up! Our host was great in responding and in leaving a birthday present behind for my husband! Appreciated that!

Perfect for a family and friends gathering. Spacious kitchen and plenty of room to spread out. We liked that the rooms had at least queen size beds for couples.

30th Birthday Getaway

This property was PERFECT to celebrate my fiancés 30th birthday with friends and family. The house was spacious and clean, the rooms were abundant, and there was so much kitchen and counter space for us to make meals throughout the weekend.

Family reunion

Every Labor Day my mom’s side of the family rents a large home or cabin so we can spend the long weekend together. This home was absolutely perfect for us. It was clean and well-maintained and exactly as pictured on the listing. The location was peaceful and very close to a lot of activities and restaurants, though we chose to spend most of our time together in the home. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to friends :)

Lovely home in Hidden Valley

Our extended family had a lovely 4th of July weekend at this lovely home in Hidden Valley. Hidden Valley has a number of tennis courts and pickleball courts. Would recommend putting hvftoday.com in the listing for info on the community’s amenities for renters. Easy communication with the owner through the website and prompt responses when we had a few questions. Would definitely stay again if we needed the large home while visiting the area.

Another fun stay!

This is the 2nd year myself and 7 friends stayed at this property and we intend to meet there again in 2024! House is beautiful and so very clean, plenty of bedrooms (7) and one is a king, 4 bathrms, a fun basement, large kitchen!!! I could go on and on, we love it and so will you!!!!

Family vacay

Our time at Hidden Valley was enjoyed by all. The home is spacious, beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The floor plan is spacious and clean. Plenty of room for our family of 10. We enjoyed the large decks. The deck was perfect star gazing. So many stars! Close to Laurel Hill and Ohiopyle state parks. We enjoyed the community pool. The children enjoyed bingo night:) Bill is friendly, accommodating and responsive.

Great, fully stocked home

Having stayed in a lot of nightly rentals, there is a big difference between a home and a house. This is a home. Bill and family obviously use this home. They keep it fully stocked and warmly decorated. Thanks to Bill for sharing his home with our group and providing a great experience for us.

Great space and room arrangement. HV remains a wonderful family resort, even in the bitter cold

Suggestions for the property: 1. TVs need to be upgraded. Very limited channel selection and no ability to access apps like Netflix. Need at least one flat screen “Smart TV”. TVs in every room is misleading with only antiques. 2. Blinds in master bedroom are missing panels, do not open and close as they should. Screens in same room are torn. Looks very shabby. 3. One of kitchen ceiling lights is out, but could not be replaced. It is hanging by a thread and may need an electrician to handle. 4. Oven thermostat is a big problem. The first night we could not find a position for the oven to be turned off. When turned to off, the heater elements remained on, and the oven indicator light was on. By adjusting I could make it sound as if it was clicking off, although it did not stay off. I ended up switching the stove circuit breaker off during the night so that we didn’t have a problem. Last night we did use the stove and had no problem with the oven light going back on. I would have it checked soon. 5. There is virtually no closet space available to hang clothes. Who wants to iron? With a longer stay, keeping clothes in suitcase would be annoying. 6. Gas starter for main living room fireplace didn’t work after the first night. Is this on a propane feed? Maybe it just ran out? We enjoyed the fireplace but resorted to starting it the old fashioned way. 7. Buy some new potholders! They are heavily stained. 8. We could not find a toaster. On the positive side, the space was great for an extended family. Our grandkids really enjoyed it. The toys and games were enjoyed. And we loved the treadmill!

Very clean and comfortable house with plenty of bedrooms for our children and grandchildren. It was only about 1/2 hour drive to Idlewild park and we enjoyed the use of the pool although only 10 of us were allowed in at a time. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Large House

Perfect for our family reunion! We came from five different directions to meet here for a week. Huge kitchen. Great deck. Seven large bedrooms. Rec room. Nice nearby amenities for summer fun. Everyone enjoyed the home. We’ll try to stay here again if we come back to the area!
