East Hampton weekend retreat. Beautiful, fully furnished, contemporary vacation home nestled in the woods. Located about 10 minutes from East Hampton and Amagansett. Great for entertaining. 20x40 foot Heated pool surrounded by decks and trees. (Guest must pay for gas used by pool heater. ) Large property and back yard.

This is our second stay at this location. Property owner is extremely nice, house is beautiful. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well-equipped. I would highly recommend this house.

Wonderful house for family vacation with children and grandchildren. We loved the layout and it never felt crowded. The WIFI was rapid and worked well in all areas. The large dining table could seat everyone easily and the kitchen was very well equipped. Jim was an excellent host and answered questions very quickly. The pool area was spacious and a hit with the grandchildren. We plan on returning next year!

The house was great! I am a cook and found the kitchen to be fully stocked with the appliances, utensils, glass and dinner ware. We have been renting a house out east for the last few years and this is the first one that met all our expectations.

Great house. Great location

Great house for our multi-family vacation. Each family had their own floor and the living area is spacious and comfortable. House was incredibly clean and well equipped. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Location was great, near East Hampton and Sag Harbor in a quiet wooded neighborhood. No beach pass, but we drove out to public beach in Montauk. Would definitely stay again.

Hamptons Hideaway

The house was great-large gathering space and plenty of bedrooms-not too fancy, good for beach house. The pool and outdoor area were great too-loved the tall trees and outdoor shower! We would have liked some updated dishes, glassware, towels in the kitchen. But overall a great place!!

Lovely home

It was a family reunion with 5 grandchildren 2 infants 3 young children. Fun was had by all. Game room over the garage was a big hit with the 6 & 8 yr olds. Very well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable family room. Pool area was a big hit. Lovely memories made here.

A great family getaway!

My brother, sister, and I rented this house with our families. We had several kids ranging from infants to 8 and it was great! The house was spacious, open floor plan with an updated kitchen, great activities like the pool, gaming tables, and much more. We each had our own living spaces (2 rooms upstairs, 2 main floor, and 2 in the basement) which worked really well for our families. The owner, James, was super helpful and very responsive during the process. Overall an excellent stay!

Great Hamptons Vacation.

Jim's house in Springs was exactly as described. It can comfortably accommodate a larger party like ours (11 in total; 8 adults/teens and 3 kids). The pool was amazing and kept the kids busy each day. The chef's kitchen was unique for a rental and we made good use of it. The extras like the pool table in the downstairs and the "game room" in the finished garage also provided nice diversions, particularly for the teens. Jim was responsive to questions throughout the visit. We would rent this house again.

DYOC - Do Your Own Cleaning

Due to the Pandemic we triple asked if the property was properly disinfected and cleaned. Property owner ensured us that the property is professionally cleaned after each rental, further stated that last rental was over a month ago. He did failed to advise us, that he was there with his family, and did not cleaned or disinfect the property prior to renting to us. To our dismay, the property was dirty in its entirety. Dirty floors, filthy linens (stained, with hair), beds were undone (obviously used), and dirty bathrooms. We spent the entire first evening vacuuming the floors with his integrated vacuum system(not cool enough to not have ruined our trip), moping the floors, cleaning and disinfecting all contact areas, cleaning the bathrooms, and doing laundry as the linen/sheets had hair, stains, etc. Luckily for us, we always carry our own sheets, but not all parties in attendance took the same precautions. Property owner did refund us the high cleaning fee charged, and allowed us to leave a day early. Although, I'm still trying to figure out, why he was the offended party when we addressed our disappointment. All in all, very unpleasant experience. Not worth the Head Ache caused. Do not recommend this property.

This renter was a problem from the start , they tried to cancel 3 days before , I told them the best I can do is a credit and that wasnt good enough,, so they just nit picked on every little thing. I will let my 20 years of renting out this house with all the 5 star reviews speak for itself.

James has a beautiful home with all the essentials. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for our group. Was an easy drive to the sound as well as downtown East Hampton. Highly recommend checking out Bostwicks on the Harbor during your stay!

Outstanding place to relax

We had a very large group with three generations. This house was perfect for our needs. The open floor plan and large table and lounging area were perfect for eating and relaxing. The deck and pool area is where we spent most of our time. The pool was outstanding and well maintained. The large deck accommodated all of us and was a great way to relax as a large group. We had a blast at night playing pool downstairs. There was plenty of room to allow for people who were not playing to share in the experience. Having 6 bedrooms not including the one in the garage allowed us to sleep our large group without any problems. The younger group enjoyed the volleyball and basketball court. We had such a good time most of us never made it to the beach I would strongly recommend this location for large groups who want to relax and bond together. I know there is allot to do in the area but just relaxing in the house was perfect. I can't wait to book another family vacation here

Overall, we had an incredible stay at the property! James was super communicative and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. The house was large enough for everybody to have their space and location was on a quiet street within a short driving distance to stores, restaurants, etc. Would 100% stay here again!

Wonderful, affordable large house

Our group was 3 generations of family who were in town for a wedding, and the house suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 3 couples and 3 singles, and we all had privacy and a great time together in the great room, the deck/pool, and playing pool in the basement. We did some cooking, and found the kitchen well stocked and clean. The two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the top floor are the most recently renovated and so also the most elegant, but the other bedrooms were good sized and we appreciated being able to locate ourselves over three floors. James the landlord was very accommodating to our need to extend our trip and arrive early, and communication was prompt and easy. Highly recommend!

Nice place with large pool in the Hamptons.

Nice large house with plenty of bedrooms. Beautiful large pool and deck. Plenty of room for 9 people to spread out including kids. Pool table was a nice plus. We had many late night pool games. Garage has ping pong table and other enjoyable games. We found the place to be super clean.

Secluded woodsy location

We had a great memorable family trip , there were issues that could be definitely avoided that would have given this rental a 5 star rating . We could NOT give it 5 stars . You’ll read on about why . Inside was very clean and disinfected . The pool was large , clean and the heater worked great . The grounds not so much. House was Loaded with toys , games , pool floats , towels , kitchen supplies , bottled water , BBQ loaded with propane which was awesome. Layout was great for our family of 10 . A/C was amazing . Tucked in the woods , very quiet . BUT Definitely needs management attention : Old food left In refrigerator and freezer that I had to throw out ! Two sets of blinds broken , toaster broken( we fixed it ) , sliders to pool lock broken ( very dangerous for our babies ) fireplace didn’t work ( would have been fun on one of our cozy nites) The grounds were awful ! Red plastic cups , white claw cans , plastic plates ,cigarettes , ant / flea pesticide container on deck and yard . The master bath corner ceramic soap shelf was broken and placed on floor of shower , previous renters underwear /covid face masks / socks left in dresser ! No shades , drapes in master or on any of the sliders ( only in two small bedrooms ) in the house making it very bright at 5AM . I did reach out to Jim when we arrived to speak about these things and was told he knew about it but hasn’t been there in awhile to address the issues . For over $1000 a day I give this property 3 stars .
